I think Zero is just begging for the Monkey King (played by Jet Li) to pummel him. But that's just my opinion.

As for the ponies, the only connection is the 'FiM' one. Someone said McCracken is married to the 'FiM' creator..? Might just be a coincidence, though.

I suppose at some point I should watch these 'ponies', as they seem to be considered awesome even by fairly manly peoples. I doubt it's more awesome than Gurren Lagann (which I have only recently experienced), but who knows. All I know is Kamina is more badass than any Chuck meme.
