When I heard about this i freaked the hell out. My college campus is in Hakodate and from what I heard they got hit pretty hard with the quake and the tsunami. My friend Yuukicha is over there right now. she told me she's safe and I pray to god she stays that way but she told us that a section of the student dorms is completely destroyed.

Probably, but I'm not sure if your blood would ever get to Japan because there is a lot of screening from both our hospitals and Japans. And there is a wait period for that sort of thing, I think 6 months from both us and the Japanese. You should donate blood any-ways though because it is a good Samaritan thing to do.
