Seems somone has taken L4D and stuck it on a nice tropical island with what seemed like a theme park as well, the graphics seem awesome plus the trailer seems to be done entirely in game graphics.

Interesting, I was just about to start a topic myself... the announcement trailer is awesome!

It being a zombie game, puts it pretty dominant on my radar... can never have enough zombie games! The graphics kinda remind me of Brink

This project is affiliated with George Romero. I remember the characters landing on an island at the end of Day of the Dead. I wonder if this might be related?

I doubt that, if you look at the trailer I posted, you can see that this will all probably happen during a summer vacation.
But is Romero really involved? Damn, that nudged this game up a few places on my watchlist

Not sure if there'll be guns by what the guy said but there's definate melee weapons and creation combos so it's still allll goooooood.

Melee is good. I have fun mowing down hordes in L4D2 with a chainsaw.

Plus there are classes apparently but I'm thinking it'll be preset characters so no customization which is the only downside to it.

Eh, that didn't actually look all that impressive. L4D on a sedative, with a dash of Dead Rising. Graphics reminded me of Far Cry 2.
Not so sure about it anymore
