I was at the other forum I hang out at and it looks like the user count just went from 34 to almost none...like 4 or 5 users.

I don't think we're the only forums being affected.

Fuck no, mate. Most English speaking imageboards, other than 4chan, have huge hosting problems and die within a year.

Not to mention, Pedos inform each other of newly created imageboards where the Modship is small and commence to dump CP on them for weeks. And most of them pedos are competent enough to know how to use Tor, so banning their IPs gets you nothing. So we'd need a very active administrator to survive the first months, which Dave is not.

So from a Moderator's perspective your suggestion is a nightmare.

Well to be fair college kids are pretty busy the first 2 months of the year. Then midway through march they have midterms then go on break then coast till about may when finals are going to kick up and start studying wicked hard.

Now that's the problem there; the people I hang out at in the other forums AREN'T college kids. They're full-fledged adults with a life to catch up with...as well as MvC3 and Minecraft.

Only a few of us at that forum are teens. Like one or two, one of them being myself, or I'm really the only one.

Technically, I "joined" the cool kids 2.5 years ago, but I was at the party much longer than that. I started coming here about 4-5 years ago (2006-7), but I never had a reason to post, let alone make an account here. Good thing I didn't though, because I would have annoyed the hell out of everyone... I had no netiquette back then.
