I like that guy. He seems cool. So does the 3DS, I guess. Charger dock is a neat touch. I might have to actually try a 3DS out in person, I just wonder what sort of eyestrain it might have.

Boy am I glad I watched the Youtube video and re-read the topic cause I when I first read it I thought it said "I just came out this morning."

My post was starting out encouraging and such but yeah I'll get one of them. I use my DS at work all the time the 3ds will be a nice time killer.

I'll pass on the 3DS. Already have a DS Lite and DSi to trade Pokemon around. Buying a 3rd DS would be a waste of money.

Agreed, I should have put an adendum to what I wrote that I'll buy one but after their 3dsi light comes out or whatever they call the one with a backlight.

this will be the first nintendo console that i will not purchase on launch day (not including revisions like the gba sp or the dsi)
i will wait for the revision now

Man, Rosso Rose, you are the master of non-descriptive thread titles. This is the third time I've gotten into this thread thinking "what the fuck is this about?". Same with that other thread.

On topic, gonna get that 3DS so fucking hard. My DS has been bricked for a year and I miss it like so. The impressions I've read about it have all been positive, with the 3D effect adding to the gameplay and the ability to turn it off. The main downsides seem to be a narrow view angle for the 3D to work, and a quite short battery time.
