Oh really well I honestly can't wait to see what these flaws are, no really I wanna know.

And No it was IW falt. They were one of the most lazy game developers I have ever known and I am so glad that they went bust. IW was the worst thing to happen to the gaming world since EA games. Sure Activision always crack there wip and kick half made games out the door but IW had almost 2 bloody years to make it better but all they made was not a sequel to Modern warfair but more of an expansion pack that you have to pay full wack for.

Actually i'd better get back on the topic of Duke Nukem before any mods start giving me funny looks.

Yeah Tony, don't argue with Wizard. He'd rape you.

I disagree with you. I've had enough of the god damn WW2 themed shooters to last until the world ends. More Nazi's have had their asses kicked than Zombies, Terrorists, and Aliens combined. It's time for a rest. Both MW games were a delightful break from the repetitive trend of the CoD franchise. Although there is some faults in the game as every game has, it has proven itself to be a very enjoyable and great game. IMHO, I'd rather play it than Halo any day. WaW, not so much. Bad experience plus love of red dots makes it a win for me. I would like to know when we get to play a WW2 game from the German point of view.

The story isn't half bad, and skillfully done for being a second in a trilogy or a series when compared to others. I would have preferred a non-cliff hanger, bastard child ending, but you take what you can get.

Probably more along the lines of "classic" than "original category of games" because that title just sounds silly and stupid when compared to what we have.

Agreed. I want my revolutionary war shooter. You get one shot then you have to bayonet them.

Just like MW2.

You quick scope them, or you knife them.

They didn't have scopes in the revolutionary war. And the guns weren't that accurate either. So it's like shooting with a randomly offcenter crosshair.

I would rather do a Cavemen war with badly sharpened sticks and rocks. AND DINOSAURS VEHICLES.

"I don't know how the game industry works, but I'm going to act like I do! I'm fucking dense!"

IW is no Bungie, but they were still a damn good game developer. They're not lazy; MW2 just didn't live up to the expectations that CoD4 set, especially with Activision riding their asses and hampering the development.

You still think that EA games is a bad publisher? Man, suddenly, it's six years ago. They've since reformed and become a much better publisher than they were before.

Technically, IW had two years to develop MW2, if you think they started working the day after CoD4 was finished. There are people developing these games, not robots.

TL;DR: Activision is to blame, not IW. You're an idiot with atrocious spelling.

Quoted for emphasis. I don't think this is the right place to start a flame war over which Call of Duty was better or w/e. If anyone mentions CoD in a way that isn't related to Duke Nukem again, I'm totally gonna pretend-ban you, yo.

It was on topic, so thumps up! Feel free to start flamewars over Duke Nukem versus CoD or whatever :D

There were some shaky cam vids, but I didn't bother. Unlike apparently a lot of people, I'm not actually excited about this game. I can't even remember if the previous games was any good, hell, I wasn't old enough to judge. The hype is solely based around the long development time (which isn't a good thing) and rose colored glasses. Had they first announced the game now, and been silent the past 12 years people would have been like "What, they gonna make a new Commander Keen too? Pfff."

See? Now we can have a flamewar about the actual game.

A hero like Duke Nukem just doesnt work in this day and age anymore... I suspect Forever to just be a trip down memory lane for all the Duke fans out there

Then again, Gearbox is behind the wheel now... and they have yet to let me down

Nostalgia and hype will be the income factor for this game. The thing is, the chances of the game making a profit for the publisher are really small.

1. I love Steam.
2. Pretty much any game I own, I have it on Steam.
3. If I don't have it on Steam already, I will buy it if it's cheap enough.

That said, I won't buy Dead Space 2 on Steam.

I already have it, finished it on normal.
Not getting on Steam because I already registered it on EA Downloader, thing is that it's CE so there is a chance that my CE stuff wouldn't carry over unless I have the save. And I'm unlikely to keep that around.
Pissed about new game+ not fixed, I downloaded an extra that gives me all the armor that's missing. So yeah. Originally I was going to have a second run on hard and then maybe finish the hardest one once I got all the suits, but yeah.
MP is quite fun though.
It's like L4D on sugar-rush.

Took them long enough to release Duke Nukem. I loved the first game but I'm not sure I'll buy this. I still have my doubts.
