I found two good visual novels known as Chaos;head and Steins;gate, made by 5pb and Nitroplus, released for the PC and Xbox 360.

For some time now, I've been wondering what it's like. I'll try to stay away from the adult visual novels since I'm in a fully occupied household, but it'll be a cool experience.

I've seen other visual novels before, like this one that may look familiar to some of you...somewhere.

It's called Cross Channel, although I'm not sure If that's available either. But it's an adult visual novel, so I'll have to pass on that one.

But other than that...I can't wait until the weekend.

Play Narcissu and it's sequel.

Both have English translations and are offered free off the web. They're more sound novels than visual, but whatever. Completely kinetic.

Oh yeah I forgot, I'm open to you guy's recommendations, so If you guys know more, than I'm happy to take a look at them.

I might also look into the Higurashi and Umineko Visual novels too.

Soukou Akki Muramasa is my fav, not a lot of sex scenes, but violence, there's shittons. Also,    rape.   
Also some philosophy, that's the reason I liked it.

Yumemiru Kususri (Drug/medicine that makes you dream), teenage love story, endings (bad obviously) can be pretty grim, but they're all off-screen. I do love the artwork. A lot.

I haven't heard anything close to that.

I do know one that's a bit freaky, but really sad. It's about this guy that can only see people as these monster looking things but then he sees this girl that he can see normally. This visual novel had a sad ending.

I was also going to consider checking out, If I'll be alone at some point, a visual novel called Tsukiakari no Raspberry. Although it has futanori's in it, making it an adult visual novel (There's sex in this one, but I don't care), I've seen the animation, and it's smooth. It looks 3D, but really it uses some tweening with the animation and the art is impressive too. If I get it though, I'll have to be careful and make sure I play it when I'm alone.
