So I've been on a break with Hellfire and started work on a new story, Geistauge, in which WILL be illustrated and used as a job application with Dark Horse Comics. Already have an Artist who will help in due time.

You have something good here. It's not much, but it's a work in progress. I shall look forward to this.



A prequel is a work that supplements a previously completed one. So I think you mean prologue.

Thanks, I couldn't think of prologue. I knew prequel was the wrong word, but most would understand what I meant.

Also, not so much as feeling guilty, more-so idiots trying to pull out my ideas on here and trying to match them with other works.

That has happened a bit before, so to get that out of the way I came right out with the fact that I hadn't taken the idea from there, because most Mechanical Arm ideas would make people think of FMA.

Also I've been updating the story bit by bit on another site I use, which I plan to copy over the other parts to here. Many people so far have came out and told me that it is very interesting. Even those not into aspects of Hell, demons and such or not even into horror have said that I have stumbled upon a good way to present it. Figured that if I could get a sample comic made from a friend, it may be a well fit story for a comic series. I don't see that many (I know there are tons, though) of comics based upon where the hero isn't necessarily a super hero. Just a person doing a job because they want to. Like sending souls back to Hell.
I will give away a part of this. Where no matter what good he does, he will end up in Hell forever, in the end of his life. You know, having a sealed fate.

Although cliche, nothing says classic than a tragic hero.

Metal arm does pretty much correspond to Edward Elric. But as long as the story of yours is relatively unique, then I don't think you need to worry.

Well almost all heroes have something tragic happen to them. What I meant was one focusing on more darker tones. Like how he could be more neutral than good or bad.

I agree, anti-heroes are a lot more interesting in terms of character depth. Well it's up to you, if you're aiming for gritty. Just make sure there's nothing too descriptive in there if you catch my drift.

Only thing like that would be, would have to be the gore. But nothing that would make it super mature works.

Edited the story. Added a few things, changed a few words to sound better as well.
Also someone pointed me to a page on Dark Horse Comic's website where they offer jobs. If you get a reply, basically that means you're getting the spot. If you don't, they don't reply back. I might submit this part, as a sample and see if they reply back.
