Then what about if you kick a guy in the nads? Or references to your favorite show?
But then again, "funny" is different for all people. Personally, I'm just a big sucker for laughs.

Okay, there's is not much funny about getting kicked in the nads especially when it's YOU getting kicked. Also, I think there's going to be enough references to shows in this comic don't you? A big sucker for laughs? Watch Blue Collar Comedy or the Comedy Channel...hmm, that sounded a bit harsher than I intended it to be.

I love comedy central. Where else would I watch some of my favorite comedian's famous acts or find new comedians to find funny?

And this was never about adding stuff to the comic. (I know better than to say such things )I was just bringing up the validity of certain funny things don't get old or at least have the capability of staying funny after being said once in a lifetime.

And you can't deny that if you've ever seen anyone get kicked in the nads that you didn't at least chuckle or smirk. Pain is funny to humans. It's been like that for centuries, millenniums even. Do not deny your heritage.

That's only because we share different senses of humor. It's all a matter of opinion with what one thinks is or is not funny. It sort of contradicts my earlier statement, but it's hard to depict the full extent of certain content being a constant good example of what is funny if the one seeing/hearing it never liked it in the first place or has a lack of interest, unless looked at in a different perspective or an event makes it relevant to be humorous. Mind you that this isn't for any example I've given, but just in general for all cases.

But to reiterate, with people having different concepts of funny, you can't say someone doesn't know what funny is because it's too loose of a meaning to be a constant for every single individual. It's like saying eating raw fish or running 10 miles a day isn't normal. It may apply to you, but not everyone else.

Different senses of humor or not, a lot of people tend to get tired of the same joke, meme, etc. if they see it as being used enough or overused.

The hell, you guys are way off topic. Go make another topic if you want to talk about humor and other unimportant shit.

Yeah, like when I told my friend how I once asked my dad how he knew something and he tapped his temple and said "kidneys", now she is continuously saying it and it's starting to get so damn annoying I was almost going to yell at her to stop saying it.

Here's something I learned a long time ago: Once, funny; Twice, okay maybe; Thrice, no way.

The only time that works is if there's a running gag to something but even then it gets old after awhile.

And...he comes in right as I was finishing typing.

if the thread naturally goes off topic it's not against the rules.

Well then, I guess I just have a lot more tolerances to repetition than you guy, or you all are easily bored with things... One or the other. I don't start disliking something I liked for not changing. Maybe I won't like it as much, but if it made me laugh the first time, with my way of thinking it should still hold merit.
