=Neutrino=

"W-Whoa!!" Neutrino jumped, accidentally releasing crackles of light that sparked around his body. Thankfully they were just for show, mere mini flares that escaped his body upon release, only to fizzle second later as he clamped a hand to his chest. The white lines on his body momentarily glowed, only to revert back to their normal lines.

"Why, no way sir!" Neutrino said, easily felt warmth ebbing from him as he felt embarassed at being caught off-guard, smiling while keeping his hands crossed behind his back. "Just remembering the fun times I had with pals at my old place. Besides, I'm mighty sure we're gonna make some color even if we weren't trying!"

'Geez, need to stay on my toes here. Guess bein' with a bunch of people with powers will make it tougher to do anything fun... all the better~' thought the boy, already impressed by Supersonic... quick feet.

Before anymore conversing could carry on a high pitched wailing noise like this could be heard followed by "DANGER, DANGER, DANGERWill Robinson! Would all staff and students report to the briefing room, for immediate briefing." Said a robotic voice, the headmaster and the three previous student teachers knew what this meant and knew what it would lead to, but to the others. Not a clue.

Apollo heard a very loud high-pitched sound and then an alert for all teachers and students to head to the briefing room."Breifing? This doesn't sound very good." Apollo said. He turned to the teachers and awaited for them to do something, "what's this mean? What's happening?" Apollo asked hoping that it wasn't anything bad.

The metal skull watched each of the students silently, unmoving, unspeaking. Behind it Trash looked out though the black visor, a small frown hidden beneath his helmet. He envied them. They could walk up to the machine, get their name and recreate themselves in front of people who had no idea who they really were. This was a time for them to start over fresh with people in the same situation, to make friends and learn to do good things with their gifts. There was a noticeable slump of his shoulders as Trash sighed. What would life have been like I had been able to come here? Maybe I could have saved-
Suddenly the siren started screaming throughout the room, danger message being blasted through the speakers. The harsh sound had snapped Jeremiah rather forcibly from his thoughts, taking him off guard. There was a visible ripple of his exposed muscles as he gripped his staff tighter, the nanomites bursting into activity beneath his skin, messages whirring around his head.

-Combat mode activated. Assessing situation
-Scanning.... Scanning...

Through his visor the former Junkie could see targets locking on to everyone in the room, scanning them, calculating potential cause of danger. He realised as he heard the message that something was happening. It would be safe to assume this was something to do with initiation into the school... was it? It was a bit coincidental to have this siren go off and to get new students to go to a briefing room. Still... Trash couldn’t know for sure, he had never been officially entered into the school.

The metal skull looked down at the student adressing them, Titan Hyperion. "Exactly what the message says. report to the briefing room. This way" Trash stated flatly, motioning with his arm towards a door before proceeding.

Keir turned to follow the quickly moving blob, purposely bumping shoulders with Tyler, "Move it, Jailbait," he sneered. He walked along the heat from flashing lights leading to the Breifing Room, rolling his right shoulder, feeling the pops of the joint.

Aeol looked at the screen, murmuring, "Echo." He turned and grabbed Neutrino's metal wrist, "C'mon, we have to help." He tried to pull Neutrino but he was physcially weaker than almost all of the other students.

"Jus' like ol' times, but fo' reals yo," Janus muttered as she ignored the ringing in her ears, cracking her neck and whirring her arms about as they began to glow in anticipation. Already she could feel herself get pumped. But these kids were definitely in for a huge surprise. Talk about an initiation ceremony indeed!

You 'eard the system, come on kids move it!" Sparrow barked out with a voice so loud it rang beyond the walls. From the stage she jumped and landed, briskly making way to the Briefing Room. Sounding serious she still held a light smirk, the nostalgic horror and anticipation subsiding inside. "Y'all keep on yer toes, things might get ansty!"

=Neutrino (Felix)=

The alarm cut through the teacher student moment like a wanton knife, and Neutrino, though confused, was relieved as the attention was moved elsewhere. Sounding like a drill, the boy watched as already two of their teachers (Trash and Sparrow) and one student (Keir) were making way to where they'd have to be. He was about to make a smart comment to Supersonic when he felt someone tugging at his arm, causing the boy to glance.

Echo was trying to pull him along, and Neutrino noticed the weakness in Echo's pull. Masking the notice Neutrino allowed himself to be pulled along, walking in stride with the other boy as they too began to go in the same direction as the others.

"Okay okay I gotcha. Let's just mosey on and see what's up! Sounds mighty serious," said the sunny boy, feeling the energy within him coursing quick, shifting the goggles that hung around his neck, his own body still emanating with heat. "Ya nervous? ... er, didn't get yer name. Neutrino's mine."

"Your mom sounds lovely~" The lick of sarcasm rolled off the boy's tongue, and Neutrino's eyebrow (both straight and crooked) rose as Echo commented about the true name.

He clearly smirked a little as he flashed his pearly whites, chuckling with his smile. "Well doesn't matter to me Echo but thanks anyways. Th' name don't mean nothing mean it's not real~" the boy winked at Echo as they made way, moseying on along, "Just a little somethin' I took on before I got the boot from Randal's."

“Mother was a good person,” Aeol said, with absolute certainty, “Father said so, I just made her go mad, ‘cause I can lift stuff with my mind. She was scared. It’s my fault, I was bad.” He smiled at Neutrino, like a small beaten puppy with its tail wagging. “If I’m good maybe she’ll love me.” He bounced around Neutrino happily.

"Well er, okay..." Neutrino said, uncertainty on his tongue. Echo was confusing the boy, because it made him wonder if parents were... a good thing.

Now he was starting to think he didn't want to find out about his own.

But it was clear as day to Neutrino that Echo was naive. The kid would believe what was told without fail, at least from what he could hear. He'd learn soon enough, but Neutrino wasn't going to be the one to teach. "Well come on then, let's make 'em proud."

Salis followed the others, still kind of nervous. He wondered how they would react when they saw Chrysalis. Most people didn't take it well. His parents certainly didn't like it. Though they were understanding enough, though. Of course... Salis looked at his classmates. They probably wouldn't think it was too strange. After all, there were probably stranger people within the crowd. He just hadn't seen them yet. He didn't really consider the group he came with to have anyone that was as strange-looking as his alternate form. Salis wondered what was going on. Was the alert simply a drill? Or maybe some kind of natural disaster was happening. Then he realized it didn't matter what he thought. He just needed to get moving and find out.

Dom's chair clattered to the floor behind him as the alarm began to blare. His eyes unfocused, and he was gone again, running through the streets.
In the distance, Dom could hear the same siren wailing faintly, signaling the end of his life in the Davy's Locker gang. It was the signal of betrayal, and no doubt, in her rage, Domovoi's mother had set it off. This added all the more speed to his flight.
In the meantime, Dom in real life had explosively risen from his chair, but now merely stood there, head seemingly in the clouds. He had turned towards the sound of the siren, and was staring at it, but still hadn't moved.

-Supersonic (aka Nick Sullivan)-

Nick didn't react quick enough to Neutrino's outburst and was temporarily blinded by the boy. After blinking a few times and rubbing his eyes he was back to normal. 'Neutrino has light powers. Good to know. I better remember that for future reference.' he thought beofre responding to the embarassed teen. "Glad to hear it Neutrino." he responded just before the sirens went off. Nick's attention snapped to siren. 'The first day? Really? I guess it is just like old times.' he thought. His fellow teachers started scrambling to get the kids to the briefing room.

Most had followed orders but there was at least three still hanging around the area. Nick pointed to teh students as he called their aliases. "Frost Meister, Virus, Phantom Touch...." he paused as he got to Yanko, the last student there. He drew an utter blank on his alias. "Forgive me, but I didn't catch your alias." he said as stood there, still pointing at him before finally lowering his hand. "You heard the siren's. We have to move it. I would prefer not to carry you there." he said with a laugh, before glancing back over at Phantom Touch. He walked over to the boy, who seemed to be in a daze. "Something wrong?" he asked him.

Where the hell does a school get this kind of shit?

Tyler had a large wave of relief as a teacher finally came. For what reason he could care less he just wanted the conversing to stop. Feeling a minor spike of pain jut through his right arm out of nowhere Tyler shrugs it off as a muscle cramp or something before the alarms started blaring. Suddenly caught offguard Tyler clutches at his ears before letting go and standing still as the suits helmet re emerged and covered his face returning him to his faceless look. Flashing infront of him in millions upon billions of lines goin horizontally, vertically, and crisscrosss was a strange unidentifiable writing. The best Tyler could come up with was that this was the equal of either a blue screen of death or simply that of a computers data and pixels. After a second or two seconds the lines dispersed, minituarizing and multiplying until they recreated the monitor and HUD. The short time that his suit was caught completely off guard was all it took for the group to have already been off on there way. Super Sonic had come back and told the stragglers to get going which Virus gladly obliged by going into a jog to rejoin the group. Finally reaching the group he couldn't help but say "Who the hell installs this shit into schools anyway? Super Steve the fantastical electric man? Bow before my wrench and power of appliances!" he said the last part jokingly with a fake macho accent mostly to himself but he could care less about who else heard.

Dom jumped at the sound of Supersonic's voice piercing through his memory, and he whriled around, both breathing hard and sweating. He swallowed hard as he noticed the other students were glancing his way. Ah... Ah'm sorry... He shuffled his feet and looked away from everyone before stepping out of the room and heading in the direction he had seen the other students go after the siren had begun its blaring call.

_Briefing Room_

The briefing room's door opened. It was a steel colored room with a metallic table and severals chairs on the sides of said table, missing only the chair at the head of the table. It had several tiny monitors surrounding one huge monitor. Then suddenly, a panel opened and out popped the Headmaster seating on the head of the table. " What took you all so long to arrive?" Second Life questioned to his staff and students. He had took a shortcut while the teachers were escorting their students to the briefing room.

He snapped his fingers and the steel room became colorful with lights. The big screen displayed a satellite view of the city while the smaller smaller screens pictured various information. Said information, ranged from weather conditions, a "Scifi"-reader to detect high levels of technology, a "Universe" emitter, to check if fabric reality was being tainted. "I think, that answers, your question, Virus." Second Life responded as somehow, he heard the boy's joke. " The mansion, school, is really my fortress, which I have to update every year. To protect and combat anything and anyone. " He said with a hidden smirk. In the center of the table was a 3D projection of a person, detailed enough to know the person's features and clothing, all in an electric blue.

Second Life, turned to the monitor and questioned " And what do you want?" He could already guess, who it was calling the academy. A thorn, that still remained in his side for all these years, despite, being on the team, he formed years ago. His tone was very irritated, and it was easily noticed by the students and the staff.

Natasa 'Nat' Mengsk
~ "What did I miss?" ~

Natasa dashed down the street, a long gray cloth billowing out behind her as she ran. Her breathing was heavy, and instead of normal breath a strange green steam escaped between her lips. "Dad... said he... would wake me... up!" Her feet slammed the pavement, grabbing a lightpost to help her turn the final corner before the school. She stopped, the green steam-like substance still left her mouth with each exhale. She slowly raised the half-mask to her face, breathing slowly. She smiled a bit, speaking to herself "Today is the day I prove that power can be used for good, dad." She strode forward, entering the school.

Only to be interrupted by an alarm as she opened the door. "What? Why? Is it that bad to be late?!" She stood there for a moment before noticing the alert itself. "Oh. Danger. I better report to the briefing room... wherever that is." She looked around, noticing people walking somewhere. "Better than nothing." She followed the students, staying quiet and usually out of sight. Her steps barely made a sound with the cloth boots muffling anything that would resemble a squeak. As the group arrived she moved into the room, staying on the back wall silently. She looked around, noting everyone's appearance. She smiled a bit, maybe she wasn't the strangest one there. She lifted the mask back to her mouth, securing it in place. She breathed out slowly, the mask making a small 'ksh' noise.

[Don't mess with 'The Man']

"Now Derek is that a way to great an old friend?" Replied a voice from the main moniter, which suddenly came alive with a bearing down face of an older Lieutenent Swift to those who had seen him before but to those new. The face was of an aging black man, with now short grey sponge like hair and a short yet thick grey mustache, those with keen eyes would be able to tell that his hair was once a full lush afro that had been very dark in the day. Those with scanners would soon stumble upon a mountain of info on the man known as Faddius Theodore "The Man" Swift, with many honors and medals preceding his efforts. They would also know he was now Captain and chief the New Justice Police and Enforcement Department.

"Now you know the only time I interrupt is when the city is in danger, it's just a coincidence that it falls upon the same day as 15 years ago. But this time there is double the danger and I see double the students, and they have two choices. The first emergency comes from here at Liberty Park, where Petalled Pestilence is running amock two of their higher goons are currently using the park to their own means." Swift grabbed some documents off a passing officer, he was at what appeared to be a park type area.

"At precisely 8:45 nearly half an hour ago a convoy of vehicles rolled into the park two being tankers full of some unknown liquid, they began to spray civilians with the liquid, upon contact with the liquid the civilians were under Madame Decay's control. Yes we've uncovered their leader's name through interrogation but nows not the time, she's turned the civilians against each other and we can't do anything. We've had to keep back for safety reasons and erected a barrier to stop them getting out and infecting more people, this operation is lead by Ivaunia (Eye-Faun-Ah) which I see by your students records is the mother to one of your students." Swift glared at Nat with suspicion and almost mistrust but then looked away and returned to his document.

"Meanwhile on the other side of the park another one of Madame Decay's goons by the name of Ragnar has been creating Gargoyle minions from the statues on the historical buildings nearby to that side of the park and has been terrorising more people. Now with this case we tried firing upon the Gargoyles to no effect as he seems to have strengthened them and he is too big to be taken down normally. However as I stated there are two choices but this is only one choice, the other lies in the shopping district. If you travel to my location I can have some squad vehicles transport you down to there, we don't know what's going on down there all I do know is it involves The Junkies" Swift looked at both Trash and Apollo as if the two knew what they were upto.

To say that he was surprised to see someone spontaneously appear in front of him would be an understatement. Though technically the man hadn't appeared, but rather gotten there extremely fast, such logic did little to lessen the effect. He anxiously listened as dear old Neutrino defended the group from the Super Sonic's interrogation. As the two talked a series of loud sirens seemed to come to life.

Yanko's muscles tensed as the sirens began blaring through out the whole room. He quickly scanned the room with eyes in search of the source. Spotting the sirens did little to ease his rapidly beating heart. He could feel the adrenaline pumping through him as his anxiousness grew. He carefully observed everyone's reactions, especially those of the teachers, as he awaited for instructions; and by the sound of them it seemed like he was in for one hell of a first day. Though Tyler appeared to be worse of than the rest of them, the poor boy looked like he was in pain.

He thought about offering his aide, but decided against it. Figuring that it probably had to do with the symbiote. If he really needed his help, he figured that boys would say something along the lines of 'Oh God, the pain,', 'Please help me,' or 'what did I do to deserve this?!'. Surely enough, after a few moments a web of sinewy flesh covered his face, reforming the helm he had seen the boy wearing when they first met. The sight of the symbiote at work made Yanko feel a tad uneasy as it sent a slight chill down the back of the his back.

He eagerly turned his attention towards Super Sonic as he addressed the others in the group, though his tittle appeared to be forgotten by the teacher; which was to be expected, he himself had only learned it a few minutes ago. "The name's Boa," he replied shortly before Super Sonic instructed them to head towards the briefing room. As the group started their trek he kept an eye out for Tyler, a bit worried about him after seeing him change. After a few brief moments, he was relieved to see that Tyler seemed no worse for wear and was his usual cheery self. With that bit of stress gone from him, Yanko breathed a sigh of relief.

As the doors of the room closed behind the group Yanko felt another odd disturbance, far weaker than what he had sensed from the symbiote, but still there; a faint taint if you will. Yanko couldn't help, but turn his head towards the source. He spotted the girl and nervously smiled before turning his attention to the screen in front of them, mentally berating himself. He was surrounded with lots of weird things, and he'd have to learn to get used to it or else he wont ever adapt to leaving out here.

He took a breath to relaxed and patiently listened to the report as it was given. However, these Petalled Pestillence fellows were they were pretty daring. He couldn't help, but wonder if there might be a greater reason behind there actions. Then there was that Madame Decay, he didn't know way, but just hearing her name made him grit his teeth.

{Second Life to Raider}

_Briefing Room_ Its a cycle_

" It is, when I keep telling you, I'm not Derek." Second Life corrected the aged hero, Faddius Theodore, in a rather harsh tone. Of course, Faddius was correct, and its fitting that he's now the captain and chief of the New Justice police, since he is the only one to actually figure out the connection between his former alter ego and his new alter ego. However, it was time, to take it up a notch and change a few things. " That would be me. Well, I'm least a Derek. " Said a new voice, a voice that belonged to a young man. He was dressed in a long sleeve shirt, that was black and blue stripes, and black jeans. On his hands, were black metallic gauntlets with various spikes, especially around his knuckles. On top of his black hair was a grey cap. He had the bill of his cap, hiding his eyes, yet he knew where to go as he sat at the table, in between two students.

Second Life groaned at the newcomer while Derek as he was called, simply chuckled. " Now, I'll ask again, what do you want?!" Second asked again, getting more angry with Captain Swift.

" And like before, you are bulling me into forcing my students into a dangerous situation." Second Life commented as listened to Swift. Madame Decay and her Petalled Pestilence, and like the junkies and their leader, were a part of Second Life's rogue galley. He had acknowledged them as both threats to the city, and far too strong for his students to deal with now. They weren't ready in his mind, which is why Second Life said to his old comrade in arms " And you wonder why, I tend to treat you so harshly."

" Oh come off it, old lion." Derek said as he slapped the table with his gauntlet. " Petalled Pestilence is running a muck on Liberty Park with a bio-hazard and gargoyles and the Junkies, our other technologic rival are probably taunting us, we need to help." He mentioned as he tried to reason with Second Life " Besides, from the look of these students, you might be surprised."

Second Life glanced at Derek and rudely said " If bullshit was electricity, you would be a human dynamo, Raider." He then made a loud groan and sat up from his chair. " Fine! We'll separate into two teams, Sparrow, I know, you have a history with the Junkies, that's why you'll be in charge of the group dealing with them." He ordered as he pointed over at Janus with his cane. He knew she would chose to face the Junkies with these choices, and given that both Second Life and Raider, regarded Janus as a rival, so she was perfect to handle the Junkies. " And since you're so uppity, why don't you be the one to handle Madame Decay, I'm sure, that will make her hate me, even more." Second Life commanded as he walked out of the briefing room.

" Robin gets to go solo, sorta. " Derek commented as he watched the head master walk out of the briefing room like a bitter old man. Derek turned to the others, and introduced himself " Since, I'm leading the other group, I'm Derek Noose...Ah, I mean, Raider, I'm one of the candidates like Trash to take over his Banter Class. " He rubbed the back of his head while he talked to the rest of the teaching staff and students.

" I look forward to going into the field with you all." He mentioned with a smile. " Especially those, who will come with me."

And this Raider seemed to make sense, and he seemed to have faith in them. “I’d be better against plant-people or whatever they are then techno-geeks,” he said quickly, “Technos all tend to blend together for me. And the heat is blinding.”

Aeol listened and didn’t quite understand, “What are the Junkies doing?”

Natasa spoke, at first her voice was small, but it got louder as she gained confidence. "I'll help with the infected civilians." The mask made another 'ksh' noise, signaling her breath. "I'm no good in combat, but I can knock them out long enough for any scientists to reverse-engineer it. Or maybe it'll just wear off." 'ksh' "I'll make sure mother doesn't get away with this." She shifted the goggles to her forehead "And Ragnar may be 'ksh' surprised to see me." She smiled before giving a casual thumbs up. She was confident that she was able to be helpful in this situation, even if she wasn't so helpful in others.

Swift looked at all the students having their say from his moniter, he responded to Aeol's Question. "Aeolus isn't it? Well to put it bluntly we don't exactly know, the area has been shut down for renovations and we've had no specific reports but what do know is it can't be good whatever it is." Swift the looked to Nat, this time with more of a appreciative look but still the mistrust was there. "That sounds fine, knock them out and bring them to the quarentine zone we've set up and we'll have medics try to reverse the process. As for the rest of you decide upon which case you'll be tackling and I'll see you when you arrive, by jet I assume is what you'll be taking? Swift out." The image of the aged police Captain vanished and in it's place was the image of Sentinal, the school's AI computer.

Salis spoke up. "Uh, my powers aren't really good with dealing with things gently. I would probably do more trouble than good if I went to the park. I think I should go on the team to defeat Ragnar. That kind of thing is what I'm better suited for." Salis knew his powers were effective. However, they weren't really good for anything other than combat. Of course, they could be used for other purposes but what Chrysalis really wanted to do was fight and it was hard to stop himself while changed.
