Okay, folks. Here it is:
Infinite Serenade isn't quite working out as I had originally intended. Rather than drop the RP completely, however, I would like to apply some changes. Changes that, in all actuality, are ideas I had during the creation process of the Infinite Serenade RP, but for whatever reason, I managed to forget to apply to said RP as I was creating it.
The biggest change would be to the story. It is rather inferior (at least in my mind) to what I intially had in mind. The overall plot (and setting) would stay pretty much the same, however. (As far as IS' destruction and rebirth, that is. My character will change, though.)
Various other changes include the removal of class letters (I'm not particularly fond of such things), an upgrade in technology (We would be considered 'early steampunk'. As such, weapons like simple guns, steam-powered grappling hooks, etc. would be allowed.), a change in architecture (think Victorian-era for the cities, and somewhat less developed Victorian architecture for the smaller towns), and characters would have the option to be as skilled in as many abilities as the player sees fit (to an extent). I may attend to the rules somewhat as well.
Such changes would lean towards a restart of the RP thread. Preferably. Also, an OoC thread restart would be cool too. I'd like to GM this properly from the start, seeing as I have a good amount of time to access the forums now.
Players will not have to re-submit character sheets, as they are accepted already. Feel free to adjust your sheets if you wish, according to the new changes. Just inform me if you do.
Now, this isn't set in stone, however. If the player base doesn't want the changes, that's fine. And if this thing is dead, I'll give it one last shot by submitting the changed OoC to the Idea Thread.
So, it's up to you guys. Consider this a bit of a roll call.
