he doesn't visit these forums....yet the first post for ths topic is his.

in any case, why is that? If he has time to post this topic, he has time to respond to posts.

Also, its not nice to call people newbie and stuff. Just saying.

I believe it's posted automatically for him, as is the comic. He doesn't actually login.

Er, no. Bleedman is exceptionally busy. If he spent his time responding to posts, he would never get the comic done. Your logic is flawed. Posting one tiny post takes a couple of seconds. Reading other people's posts and responding to them individually takes a hell of a lot longer. No one should expect Bleedman to waste his time responding to petty comments about his work. He has a lot more important things to do with his time.

Plus, if you look at the first post, Bleedman didn't actually type anything.

How is it not nice to call someone a newbie? That's what they are. A newbie is a term used for people who are new to the forums (i.e. Their join date is this year and/or their post count is low). You would be considered a newbie.

Newbie is not a bad word. Noob is a disparaging version of newbie. If someone is a newbie, we do not look down upon them, and we happily accept them into our community. If someone is a n00b, we might try to correct their n00b behavior, but we are not hopeful, as there are too many Noobs.

Newbie and noob are the exact same thing and, in my opinion, it's not offensive to call someone either.

Anyway, back to the post. It's amazing how fast Gaz can go from muderous and sadistic to calm and collect. Man, I seriously have got to stop bringing up random subjects. :frown:

Anyway what? If you're going to post something retarded like that you can at least try to go back on topic.

Such as:

I hate posting on topics Bleedman post... and now I remember why.

Sorry, been offline for awhile. Haven't been on for a couple months. ANYWAY (and I'm actually going to say something this time), it's amazing how fast Bubbles can make friends with people. If suddenly went all star-eyed and flew in front of my my face would be wide-eyed and I'd be like WTF?!?! But that's just me.

I'm happy to see Jenny in the comic agian, haha.

Is it just me though. or does her jacket remind a bit of Black Rock Shooter? (For those who know) maybe it's just because it is black with blue flames haha.

it's weird to me that in developing subtext in these forums about minutia like uniforms and spur of the moment art decisions by bleedman, that a lot of people are not reading this subtext. Why aren't they reading it? I might suppose it's because a lot of the subtext is generated from people's opinion, which people (nowadays I guess?) are prone to ignore.

However, this subtext has simply, like all community subtexts, developed entirely on its own within the community, and is a legitimate if not major or singular presence in contributing to driving the narrative. At least, it is a presence as much as anything in a semi-public format (one that allows the average audience to participate). And by that I mean: as a note, this subtext is not solely generated by these forums. I actively lurk a wide circle of "fan communities" and take a pretty big note of their preferences. It's only here at Snafu does it feel proper for me to comment on it, since this is like, the official site. Thus, people all around the web who give relatively minor shits about Bleedman end up with me reading their public discourse.

So It's not like I'm not aware of and not actively trying to exceed, predict, or most likely subvert those expectations or anything, lol.

i've decided that the people reading, developing, and participating in the subtext cooperatively (rather than say, competitively) are the ones who will appreciate the comic a great deal, and thusly it has made page decisions a whole lot easier. :)

For instance: I have made a very concentrated effort to make this comic about all the girls in even chunks, despite the focal point of sub-plots being centered around them individually! As a result, a lot of the plot continues to exist in the background, and makes the audience work for portions of their resolution, as we are nowhere near the point that would best resolve the situation.

If someone wanted to quote this post in the bleed forum, or redirect people here from there, I'd be obliged. I feel like this explanation might soothe some of the critics, or at least inflame the more obstinate ones more predictably. :)

I think Griddles needs to read that, he thinks that there's no plot going on.
