======================================================================================
Name: Ms. Magina DreamwalkerAge: 31 years old
Alias: Silver Dancer
Ability Origin: Magic
Appearance: Magina is a tall and brave looking woman with a hardened red face that seems stern, yet kind at the same time. Her hair is long and straight, dark brown, and reaches past her shoulders. She often puts her hair up into two braided pig-tails, which she holds up in twin silver beaded hair ties. Her eyes are a deep brown and are slightly tilted with long eyelashes. They are weighted with years of experience, and have the sparkle of one who lives in a dream land. She has high, thing cheekbones and her skin is a reddish olive color. Her lips are thin and narrow and neither frowns nor smile, but have a sort of indifference to them. Yet, she will always show a kind smile to those in need. It is often painted with a light pink lipstick that sparkles in the sun’s rays. Sometimes she will even wear thick black eye shadow which sort of makes her eyes pop out a bit. She has two hoped earrings, and her ears have the appearance of once holding multiple earrings. She still has that nose and eyebrow piercing though. She also still tends to wear her old brown leather jacket with the eagle insignia, it has become worn over the years with a few patches at the elbows and a broken zipper but it still looks good for its time. She also still keeps her dreamcatcher if only for the sake of memory, during the day she parades it around her neck, but at night she just stashes it away somewhere ‘til morn’. On her head she wears the cap of her uncle’s gas station on the reservation, which she ended up working in for a certain amount of time with her cousins before becoming a teacher for the school. On her feet she wears stylized boots that are paired with tight jeans and shirts showcasing her favorite bands and plain loose T-shirts. She’s still sort of a punk on the inside, but really she’s grown past all of that long ago. Now, it’s kind of just a style she likes.
Costume: For a costume Magina wears a modified version of the costume she wore as a child. It still is a jingle dress, but the skirt is much shorter and tighter. Overall, it is still a pinkish purple with stylized floral designs starting from the left (her left) bottom edge of the skirt, swirling around to the back where it ends at the shoulder blades in the exact shape of a sort of stylized eagle. Just like the one on the back of her jacket. The pattern itself is a silver color that does well in reflecting the light of the sun. Her sleeves have white jingles hanging off the bottom, and around the waist is another red belt with metal barbs.
For stockings, she wears the obligatory black spandex tights, and pinkish purple flat boots to match her dress. She still wears a headdress on her head, as a part of her culture. It is pink with white diamonds sewn on it, a silver thread hangs from it and connected to it is a single feather from that of a bald eagle as well as beads with a color scheme that reflects that of a rose. On her face her make-up is more matched up with her costume with the silver and pink stylized eyeshadow.
Super Ability:Dreamwalking---- Magina has the ability to enter another’s dreams as well as experience whatever the person may be experiencing. Only, she can freely control her movements. However she cannot control by any means control what happens in the dreams, and she still needs a person’s permission to enter. Thankfully (or not?) it has become easier to do this, as she is less restricted as she once was in this matter. She can walk around and interact with her surroundings, a sort of lucid dreamer actually, with superpowers. In her own dreams everything is hers to control, since it is her own realm of consciousness. Thus, it can be incredibly fatal if one chooses to invade her dreams while she’s asleep.
Summoning---- A strange ability to be sure, with it’s on set of rules to boot. The ability to make dreams a reality, anything Magina has dreamed up has the chance of entering the real world as long as it can be easily dreamed up by another person. Like a swarm of a thousand bees, or a man-eating plant. Unique things have no place here. It also cannot be too powerful, or Magina can risk losing her powers. Thankfully Magina has a bit more control over this now, and doesn’t need to use her dreamcatcher as a pokeball anymore. Although, sometimes things can get a bit out of hand and that’s when she’ll trap them inside the dreamcatcher and release its contents on the night of a full moon. One of her many summons is a completely silver bald eagle which she calls Koko that she uses as a mount.
Silver Arrow---- The magical silver blasts from her childhood which can cause a considerable amount of damage to others (although she learned to control it so that she does not damage herself). It is now coupled with a bow which she conjures to match up with the arrows for the sake of better aiming. The blasts are still as silvery as they were before and WILL disappear on impact. The dream catcher has no effect on it since it’s enchantment that protected her from her dreams has disappeared when she turned eighteen, but the arrows
do still become powerful on a night of a full moon, as if they have a connection to the moonlight
Ability Weakness: Magina has more control over her powers now. She can tell the difference between dreams and reality, and her powers are not totally random anymore, she still has some weaknesses. For one thing, she is still restricted by the rules of a dreamer’s dream and her ancestors, and is still susceptible to losing her powers as well as imprisonment. Hell she’ll be stuck inside a person’s dream anyways if she stays for far too long. That is until they falls asleep again. She’s also weak against hypnotism and any sort of mental intrusion, if a person is strong enough they CAN make her play by their rules while she’s still in her own mind. She is very vulnerable to psychic attacks. Because of this she makes sure she places wards and charmed objects around her bed to protect herself against intrusion during the night (mostly Seneca items). Unfortunately she has nothing to protect her when out in daylight. Oh, and she is STILL slightly afraid of the clown spirit Hagondes, although she managed to cope with the existence of the Carnies.
History: Magina was born on a small reservation in Western New York into the Seneca tribe of the Five Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy. Her father was a shaman who still clung to the old ways and a follower of Kaakwha, the solar deity of light and truth. He was a firm believer in the Dahdahwat (animals that appear in dreams and visions), and would often perform rituals to satisfy them. When Magina was born, her father believes that the spirits had cursed him, and he attempted to contact the Dahdahwat and ask for a son. On the full moon of the seventh month, everything was in order. The necessities were ready, and Magina, a crying seven month old was placed in the center of a clearing near a large oak tree. Her father placed a small dream catcher in the child's chubby hands and chanted an incantation in the Seneca tongue. After a while, nothing happened, until silver light extended from the moon and engulfed the child. The Dahdahwat didn't give the father a son, for they took pity on the girl and instead bestowed upon her the ability to enter the dreams of others as well as making her a lucid dreamer. When the silver light finally faded, Magina's father found his daughter and no son. The child was still holding the dream catcher which was giving off a silver glow, and there was fear in her eyes, a fear that would never go away.
As Magina got older her abilities started to show through, at seven years-old she woke up one day to find that a forest-green pony with a red horn protruding for its forehead was sleeping at the foot of her bed. When her father asked her where it came from, she simply stated that it was her unicorn, which she called Dahdah. This made her father afraid, and he immediately filled his daughter's room with freshly woven dream catchers, as well as making the silver dream catcher he had used in the ritual into a necklace. When he gave his daughter the necklace at dinner, the girl would've never have guessed that it would have helped contain her powers for the years to come. As Magina got older, the incidents concerning her powers were set to a low, and things were going normal in her everyday life, she was even a part of some pow wows. However, on her sixteenth birthday, she had a big sleepover as to celebrate her sweet sixteen.
Everything was perfect. Her father had a barbecue, and all her friends were there. She even got a new floral jingle dress. However, she didn't go to sleep wearing her dream catcher, and all of the dream catchers inside her room were taken out long ago. Before she went to sleep, she and her friends exchanged scary stories. One of her friends, a snotty girl named Gloria, told the story of a cannibalistic clown spirit called Hagondes, who liked to capture and eat teenage virgin girls, and only came out at night. That night, Magina dreamed of him, and when the clock stroke midnight, Gloria woke up to find that the clown spirit was hovering over her friend, preparing to eat her. Gloria tried to wake up her friend, but while she attempted to do such Magina woke up, horrified to find that the savage clown was about to eat her best friend. Suddenly an idea popped inside her head, and Magina rushed inside the bathroom where her dream catcher necklace lay, and used the dream catcher to seal the clown spirit. The next day, she confronted her father about the mishap, and fear filled her eyes as her father explained what he had done. Magina ran from her father in rage, and sadness. Shamed, her father had a talk with Magina's mother, who suggested that they'd send her to someplace where she could learn to control her powers and use it for good.
Years later the enchantment casted on the dreamcatcher has lifted after Magina’s eighteenth birthday. She has suffered more than one run-in with the Carnies of Chaos and their dreaded leader even after she graduated from the Forge. You can almost call it a rivalry, out of all the other wretched gangs in New Justice it’s these circus dropouts she dislikes the most. Once she had feared them. But after a great face off and the aid of a few friends (particularly Janus) she has finally come to terms with [most of] her fears. However, she could not take the life of a superhero, and traveled back to her reservation to in self recess with the hopes of sorting out what she wanted to do in life. The Silver Dancer, disappeared for a time from New Justice, and was then working her butt off helping her uncle with his gas station: Birdzone. Her father, surprisingly her father was well accepting of her, despite of all that bad history between them, and was glad to see that she had finally come to terms with most of her fears. Unfortunately there was still a being that haunted her in her dreams…Hagondes.
Neither he nor the Dahdahwats left her alone much to her dismay, and it only got worse after her eighteenth birthday. She finally broke down and started buying charmed objects to ward them off, glad to learn that to a certain extent they worked. But for some reason she still had dreams of that one monstrous clown. One day she had a dreadful, mind-boggling horrifying dream that revolved around the Carnies that felt so real she could not stand to ignore it. The problem was, she did not know what the dream meant. Fearing for the worse she bid her people farewell and journeyed back to New Justice. There, she went to the Forge to request a teaching position. She said nothing about her horrid dream at the moment, and instead stated that she wanted to teach the students to protect others and themselves…..Mostly themselves.
