I feel like folks just kind of tired with the Dexter and Olga thing and decided to phone the rest in. I suppose it's off to the next big buildup.

So why couldn't we have moved it along with a short scene at the beach instead of just summarizing it in one page after the entire trip? It all just seemed unnecessary with how it was executed.

pwned-by-twilight wrote:Well, as I was saying to BeeAre about the last page being anticlimactic, that's just not right. There was too much build up and speculation for how it was done. An anti-climax is supposed to give the reader that "Oh wow, wasn't expecting that" feeling, but it just went and slapped the reader in the face in my opinion. It's like if someone wrote a 100 page essay, and it's pretty good, but then rushes the 4 page closing for no apparent reason.

You expected the build-up to be released. I did not release it. You, therefore, have not experienced an anti-climax, but another part of the progression. I point to the obvious: the comic is not even near over.

Again if there's no explanation or clarification for why this was what it was, it just won't sit well with me. And on TOP of that, there's a grave error in speech that wasn't given a response in the post I gave.

Grave error in speech? There was no error: Bubbles heard Blossom and Dexter and Olga speaking, and that subject came up.

But moving onto THIS page, it's nice, yes. The speculation that this page is a tie-in to the Zim comic Johnny brought up is a good question though... Is it a tie in?

No tie ins to any other comics are present which would convey that they exist in the same universe.

So why couldn't we have moved it along with a short scene at the beach instead of just summarizing it in one page after the entire trip? It all just seemed unnecessary with how it was executed.

That WAS the short scene at the beach. And believe me, it was definitely necessary. :)

I agree. But when you think about it, besides the Olga/Dexter incident there isn't really much to look forward to...there's Naga and Bell but that's going nowhere at this point.

I'm glad to see there are finally updates~
Also happeh to see Dib in the doujinshi... Although I hope he's not a love interest for Bubbles... that wouldn't be fitting... at least that's what I think. x_o

I was kinda looking forward to more beach-related pages, but the short summary and Gaz's fury made up for it. :3

*cannot wait for future updates* 8D

shouldn't we wait until the story is over before we decide whether a chapter was executed well or not?
A Pimp Named Jeezy Creezy: Lasting all the way up to Valentine's.

And the Pimpeth lord sat amidst his real ballin' players, the Apostles, and raisingeth his cup of Cristal as they devoured the grapes and cheese from the finest bitches in town he said

"Sleepery Dee, Sleepery Doo.
Whoever betrays me tonight, I'll mo'fuckin' cap you!"

dude if you had waited until after you'd come back from the dead to see if you were executed well would your big moment with Thomas and the holes in your hands mean anything????

AH! Bloody Crap! I wish I was on sooner and I would've seen this. Bloody Hell!

Well, anyway, Dib's doomed.

Oh, and welcome to SNAFU, Snape!
Omniczar: Why is everything against me?
BeeAre: Because you are representing the spiritual monkey, as the classical buffoon or jester or fool of a joke. 'Tis Shakespearean.
Omniczar: I knew being a volunteer at Ren Faire would come back to haunt me someday.
