I've only played the one on PSX wherein he travelled through time.

I remember playing some of the 2D duke nukem games. Yeah, that's right, 2D. Back in the olde dos days. I also had the one for the PSX. But man, that was long ago. It's funny to think of, that Duke Nukem Forever has been in developement for over half my life time.

Duke is just awesome, along with Quake, Doom and Wolfenstein 3D he started the whole FPS Genre and I bet once he makes his come back he'll shake his head and sight at the sigh at the sight of what his beloved legacy had become while he was away.

I my self can't wait to see him put that pretender Call of Duty in it's place.

Call of Duty is a good franchise suffering from two bad releases

What do you mean two? World at War was really good, it's just Modern warfare 2 that was bad. It could have been good if the developer hadn't cut so many corners.

And I know you can't compare them giving the fact that COD is just another modern shooter that anyone can make these days and the Duke games are fun and original, Duke is more in the Half Life category of comparing games, also known as the "original category of games."

WaW had a alright campaign (good content, some shitty design flaws at higher levels, shortness) and shitty, broken multiplayer. MW2 suffered from the same problems; but that was more Activision's fault than IW's.
