Shit...those characters do look familiar. Probably just a coincidence though.

Yeah, the bat reminds me of that bat from Anastasia...and the crow reminds me of the owl from 'The Secret of Nimh'

Yeah, that's what it reminded me of too, just couldn't name it though, which is strange considering it's one of my favorite animated films, and I last watched it less than two months ago. Never saw Anastasia, though, so I wouldn't be able to compare the bat to that too well. The bat does remind me of something else, though. Just can't remember what.
