Outbreak: Last Hope

Humanity has been at war for milenia and clearly has no regret killing each other in any way possible, be in blunt weapons or heavy assault rifle's. Taking to old tactic's the Leader's of a European army have begun an open war with the USA. Biological weapons are now being used as threat's to prevent an invasion, a peace meeting was held by the official's a few year's after open hostility began, at the end of the meeting the peace keeper for Europe was assasinated by a former soldier who had been released from service for mental instability.

When news of the attack reached military official's the leading general's launched a full scale biological attack, unfortunately one of the area's hit was a nuclear power plant located near a military base for the USA, a few soldiers escaped the blasts and were supposedly uneffected by the chemicals from both their own missles and the enemy contagion. The radiation mutated the two opposing chemicals to create a new strain of super virus that effected the brain to control one's muscles. Sending it into a vicious rage uncontrolled and focused on destruction of anything that moves.

The one in the soldier was dormant until a specific moment, as he died on a hospital bed he gave one final exhale and the virus leaped forth to nearby victims waiting to be activated by their heart stopping. A few minutes after his death he had infected over seventy hospitalized people creating the first mess of rage infected human's. When the police showed up and opened fire the bodies fell but returned to mobility moments later but without the speed and aggression as before, it would not be long after this event that the virus spread across the world from stray ship's escaping the carnage to planes crashing from the infected.

---------------------------------

Our RP take's place a few day's after a small military run airshow near Las Vegas where a large quantity of infected quickly overrun the small event causing wide-spread panic and chaos. You were hailed by soldier's into a nearby barracks where you immediatly boarded and sealed all entrances and exit's, it was serving as the event storage shed at the time so there is plenty of food and water to last you for atleast 2 weeks.

The soldier's have used this opportunity to teach you all basic marksmanship and some small hand to hand combat training hoping to give you a chance when the ration's run out. The noise attracted more than enough mindless brutes that even now circle your barrack's tempting the wall's and windows every so often with the other mix of rage infected or walking dead.

You will be given a small message on radio informing people to head for mountainous area's or high ground, the virus apparently became a controlled sickness at low temperature's. You and the soldier's have managed to secure some military jeeps and enough fuel to hopefully get out of Las Vegas and in a direction further north, armed only with a few weapon's found in the military barrack's and an armory that you had broken into a short time ago for ammunition and such.

-------------------------------

I hope to create scenario's later on to cause dark area's to become a neccesity, and random shot's will cause anything in earshot to come running. This includes Car's, trucks, yelling, explosives, and generally any loud noise.
When your transportation becomes unavailable you will be finding shelter to carry on, I intend to make you work for your safety. Every living creature can be infected by this virus and will try to kill you, so be wary of whatever you come across as a threat.

--------------------------------

Fear is something I must see in all of you, I can understand adrenaline and all that but your character's were all regular people with a regular job, no ex-military assassin or mass murderer jail-escapee.
What your Character did for work may effect certain events you do or effects you have on Human NPC's you encounter later so try to think about what you did and all that.

------------------------------------

The enemies you will be encountering and hopefully avoiding are a select batch:

Rage infected: The beggining stages of the virus, it takes control of your brain and drives you to attack and destroy anything and everything without any regret or remorse or fear.

Living Dead: The heart of the infected has died along with it's organs but the brain continues to control the muscles, depending on how fresh the kill it can be very fast or very sluggish, but the constant is that they do not breathe or moan making them hard to expect in certain enviroment's often until it is too late. This is the most numerous.

Immunity: A special name given to the infected who'm have their brain working regularily but their inside's are dead much like the Living Dead, these are creatures of thought and power. They know how to run, climb, jump and wait. Even set up traps of moderate intelligence for their food.

There are other creatures lurking in the dark that I have not mentioned but will be covering later in the RP.

CS: most of this stuff is true about me IRL

Name: Daniel Dean (My real name)

age: 16

appearance/weight:170lbs Me 5"11.5'

personality: Daniel is the smartish one, knows some random facts, some stuff about
computers, and has prepared for years for something like this to happen (sadly enough, that IS what I've done for a while) He's never really been in a fight before in his life, but when push comes to shove/zombie comes to bite Daniel is ready for action if not a bit reluctant to take a life

former employment: mowed grass, worked on computers small time and worked with his dad at his auto garage

hobbies: Drawing, getting on the computer, reading fantasy novels, has never hunted but has taken and passed the hunter's safety coarse collecting weapons for zombie apocalypse and practicing with them, and playing airsoft with friends

Sword

history: Daniel has grown up on horror movies pretty much his entire life (wheither or not he wanted to, he just couldn't turn away) He's always particularly feared Zombies and for the longest time when he was 13 he believed they were real, and for anequally large amount of time he spent his time convincing himself that logically unless something exactly like what was happening happened there were no such things as Zombies, but subconciously he still believed so in the years since he's spent time effort and some of his and his parents money to stock pile enough weapons for himself and at least 3 other people, a 3 1/2 foot sword, a military grade knife 15inches, several blunt objects including several weights and a bar bell pole, and a buck knife 7inches

bravery: 7 has watched plenty of Zombie movies to know to stay calm, that doesn't mean he's all smiles when chopping one down

weapons: Knife, M9, and M4/ if that's not what your talking about then M60/ SAW (if he even gets anything bigger than the M9) and swiss army knife
all in a backpack

Special ability:

COMPLETED

Character Sheet

Name : Ronnie Flontelas
Gender : Male
Age : 27
Former Employment : Deputy U.S. Marshal

Appearance : Stands at 6ft3 with a slender and fit body. Brownish hair that's been gelled to the back, black-colored eyes, and a small amount of stubble at the beard and mustache area, all set upon a hard face. He has lightly tanned skin with a white scar seen at the bottom of his left cheek.

Ronnie dresses himself in a cream white suit and a pair of pants of the same color. He also wears a red dress shirt on the inside with the top button open and wears a pair of black steel-toed leather boots (The steel-toed feature has been useful on numerous occasions that involved him running away and a person chasing after him. Much later, the gonads of the latter would probably weep from Ronnie's hard kick).

As for accessories, he has a pair of sunglasses which has a black and red color theme to it, a gold ring can be seen on his index finger and a silver one on his middle finger. He also has on a white cowboy hat which adds to his charisma and toughness. Most would probably notice that the Deputy U.S. Marshal is southern-bred by his accent.

Although he seems to dress in casual whenever he's not on duty, he constantly has a bullet-resistant vest underneath and a waist holster for his gun.

Personality :
Ronnie is your typical Deputy U.S. Marshal from the south. Tough and intimidating. However, he is also quite soft-spoken with others and charismatic. Due to being in the force for such a long time, he's extremely brave and cool in even the most craziest situations. He also has years of experience in combat and his skill with weaponry is top-notch. If you ever see the man run in a situation, run with him because the only reason he would back down would be because his tactful and cunning mind tells him to.

Despite these good points, he can be quite hypocritical at times and even come off as arrogant in first impressions. The fact that some of his actions can be quite rash doesn't quite help either.

Equipment :
Ronnie had went to a supermarket to stock up on kitchen supplies before he saw the airshow. Apparently, he had brought a portion of what he bought into a plastic bag down thinking that he would be watching the event for quite some time and get hungry. He bought quite an amount of items and they seem to have come into good use.

- Frying pan (Taken with him by accident, Ronnie appears to have some attachment to it, probably because of the price tag)
- Slices of smoked ham
- A loaf of bread
- Some beer
- A small plastic cylinder of M&Ms
- A bag of chips
- A pack of cigarettes
- A box of matches

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marshals_Service#Firearms, Quoted:
According to the US Marshal's website, "The U.S. Marshals Service's primary hand gun is the Glock 22 or Glock 23 in .40 S&W caliber. Each deputy may carry a backup hand gun of their choice if it meets certain requirements." They also are equipped with AR-15s and 12 gauge shotguns.

Ronnie constantly carries a sidearm with him just in case he's called for backup or anything urgent by the department.
A Glock 22, the Deputy Marshal's common sidearm. Ronnie keeps it in a waist holster with two extra clips with him. It also has a tactical light attachment.

His badge
A pair of handcuffs kept in a shirt pocket

Hobbies :
- Good food
- Beer and Wine
- Flirting with women
- Running away from bullets
- Shooting
- Cursing
- Identifying how dead you are
- Gambling
- Not taking your crap

History : Ronnie was born and bred in the southern environment of Harlan County, Eastern Kentucky. His father was a police officer while mother was housewife. Ronnie grew up in a pretty normal life. Normal life for Ronnie could be described as hell on earth for others. He was constantly beaten up by his father whenever he got angry and his mother was as straight as a ruler, so much that she'd snap your neck off. Of course, Ronnie's parents were also quite caring and supportive.

The only bump in the road he got was when his father died in a shooting of a bank robbery. After that, he toughened up and took responsibility by doing multiple jobs to support him and his mother. When he got older and his mother passed away, he joined the local police force and quickly ascended to becoming a Deputy U.S. Marshal.

It was then that problems really happened. One day, he was sent for an assignment to apprehend a fugitive that had escaped arrest. Ronnie was assigned to search for and capture him for completing the case he was related to. Upon having found the man, he gave chase and cornered him in an alley.

"Son, I'm gonna have to ask you to come with me"
"No, no, you assholes can't make me"
"I'm being serious here now, one more argument and you're dead"
"FUCK YO-", the man suddenly pulled out a gun but was too slow.

Ronnie fired at him, two shots, right at the chest.

After that, Ronnie was reassigned to Las Vegas due to him having shot the man and even claimed it being "justified" in many levels. In Las Vegas, he was sent for assisting the police department there. Things were going fine in his new place. He even got into gambling and got quite smart at it. Well, not that the bribing didn't help. On certain cases, he has even conned other suspects into being arrested.

Well, that is until the airshow. Having gone to shop for some kitchen supplies, Ronnie was on his way back to his hotel when he passed by an air show. Interested and having no work for the day, he purchased a ticket and went to watch the event. Just when he had reached the crowd of people watching the already started event, a plane crashed.

Bravery : 9. After all those years of being chased by angry gangsters, valets, businessmen, crazy lawyers, the police, devious enemies, rivals, bounties that so happened to have gotten themselves a pistol and stupid casino owners, it's not much of a surprise to fight a bunch of undead freaks. In fact, Ronnie finds it a lot less scarier than the shit he's been through in his life up till now.

Theme Song (For Fun) : Gangstagrass - Long Hard Times To Come

Name: Lauren Baffige

Age: 22

Appearance/weight: She is six feet tall, in ridiculously good shape while still managing to have a great body frame. With hip length dark brown hair that almost looks brown, skin that would be pale if it wasn't for the light tan on her shoulders, arms, cheeks and legs, bright green eyes, slightly pronounced cheek bones, and a well-shaped nose and lips, she looks very European. Although she doesn't look like she could fight a bear and win, she totally could.

On the field she wears either underarmor sliding shorts or pants, and the blue uniform shorts/pants (depending on the weather), a longsleeve underarmor shirt, usually black for practice and away games and a white one for home games, and the blue uniform top with her name and number on the back. While she's on the bus to go to the games, she usually wears a set of black sweatpants/hoodie that the whole team has, and she's usually seem not only carrying a large blue catcher's bag, but a regular black softball bag as well. Her catcher's glove is a worn black with grey spots where the ball is frequently or on the top of the 'basket' of the glove, where she uses it for balance in between batters or pitches. On the field, she normally doesn't put the black streaks on her face, mostly because she's almost always partially covered with a black helmet and catcher's gear, and she wears her long hair in a messy bun.

As far as accessories go, she usually has a pair of very dark reflective sunglasses that she wears when on the bench and if the sun will be in her eyes while catching. She does have some more feminine qualities, such as painting both her hand and toenails a metallic green or a matte black, and she usually wears a small amount of eyeliner while on the field, and some mascara and if she's feeling like it, some eyeshadow. Off the field, she usually is seen in skinny jeans, running shoes or flats and a dress shirt of some kind.

Personality: She deals with pressure very well and she's used to being in charge/responsible for 15 or more around her own age. On the field she's very professional and serious and off the field, she's not very different, just a little more quiet and reserved. She doesn't smile very often, and when she does, it's not much more than an eye crinkle and a curl of the lips. She's used to hiding her emotions, mainly her disappointment, and she's used to being a pillar of strength for others to rest on in their time of need. She never asks for help unless it's out of her hands, and she's loyal to a fault.

When it comes to romance and matters of the heart, she is really inexperienced. This is mostly because she's always been too busy with school, softball and taking care of the family to spend time on herself. So she's particularly susceptible to embarrassing blushes if she's flirted with, or just feel awkward and ignore it till the guy gives up.

She's normally the one who protects the other teammates when they go into a sketchy area, and always carries an overly large pocket knife hidden in her softball bag. If asked, (not too many people have actually found the knife and questioned her about it, she can be intimidating with her serious nature and lack of smiles), she frowns slightly and has been caught saying "Just in case, you never know what idiot will try something."

Former Employment: She's never had a job before, she's always been taking classes and helping out her family or playing softball. Luckily, her father makes more than enough for the family and Lauren was awarded a full scholarship.
Women's College Softball Player. This would have been her last year.
Position(s):
-Designated Hitter: batting average of 6.41
-Catcher
-(Also can play 3rd base, shortstop and second base.)

Hobbies: Softball, running, batting practice, eating, sleeping, listening to music, working out.

History: Born in America to Italian immigrants, Lauren was raised with English and Italian as the languages spoken in the house. They at first lived in apartments where she was lucky to have her own room despite having a younger sister, named Claire. They moved around a lot, following her father's work as an inspector for Exxon Mobile (their oil wells and refineries, not the gas stations themselves.) so after a few failed friendships, she got used to either being a loner of keeping in contact with the select few people that she became friends with.

During all of the travel, her mother changed over time, gradually becoming a needy person, almost bi-polar. When Lauren turned 12, her mother had been sent to the hospital during one of her fits, where they found nothing wrong with her physically so they sent her to the nearest mental hospital, where she was formally diagnosed as bi-polar. This affected her greatly as a child, since she had to take care of her mother while she was on medication (sedatives) because her father was always working and she wanted to protect her sister, who at the time was almost 9 years old.

Becoming self-sufficient at such a young age taught her a lot about the world and herself. Since her father was rarely at home, she was the one who helped her mom shower, made all three meals daily, managed the money that her dad brought home. She did, however, leave the taxes and things that she didn't know anything about to her father, who often took care of those things on his days off.

Somehow she managed to convince her father to hire a nurse to help her take care of her mother when she was at school, and got involved in the softball club in early middle-school. When she brought her mother to one of the practices and saw her smile at her, Lauren fell in love with the sport.

After about a month of practice, the coach had picked what positions would probably fit each person in the club, and catcher was what the coach decided Lauren would do best. By the time she was in high school, Lauren had not only had convinced her father to let them stay in the same town that they had been living in and buy a house, but also a decent grade point average, and was rising up in the ranks of the softball team. By the middle of her freshman year, she was recruited into the Varsity team as their catcher, and by the end of her sophomore year, she was the new designated hitter. In her junior year, she was voted at the Varsity Co-Captain with the Pitcher (who was a senior), and in her senior year of high school, she became the captain of her team.

By now, she didn't have to worry so much about her younger sister, who had always made friends with ease and seemed to be flourishing because of the new stability in their lives. The nurse brought her mother to all of the games, and the doctor had finally lowered the prescription for the sedatives, as it seemed that she had a chemical imbalance which caused the bi-polar behavior. The nurse was still required, but the whole family was hoping for the best with the new discoveries and technology that kept advancing year after year. Once in a while, her father would take her to a shooting range as a 'father-daughter bonding' type of thing, and she became quite decent at rifles and passable with anything with a scope that was larger than a hand-gun.

In college, Lauren was a full-time student while also being the captain of the college's varsity softball team. Lauren's biggest goal right now is to compete at the highest level of softball that she can (She's thinking about having a go at the Olympics), and find a way to help her mom's condition.

Bravery: 7.5 (She's used to having shit go down whenever she's near something. From shooting range accidents to being hit in the face with a metal bat.)

Equipment:
-Large Sledge-Axe (A sledge hammer on one side, an axe on the other. It's basically a weighted axe. love these things.)
-Illegally large Pocket knife: Bought at a hunter's convention. Surgical steel with polished grey/brown wood on the sides.
-Softball Bat (I actually own this bat, hit a few homers, LOVE IT)
-Batting Gloves
-Sports Medical Equipment. (Mostly medical tape, gauze and bandages. Minor disinfectant.)
-Chewing gum
-A few water bottles
-Softball Bag (Big enough to carry everything she has and then some.)
-Change of clothes (Softball uniform and workout clothes)
-Catcher's equipment/glove

Wrote up a WIP for my character.
Fenix, would you mind if I added in a 'Starting Equipment', 'Skill' and 'Gender' field?
Because it seems that the CS example desperately needs one.

----FIN----

==============================================================================
Name: Patty Thomson

Age: 19 years old

Appearance/Weight:

Image

Personality:

A patient person at heart, who finds it easy to deal with annoying people as long as she can do her work. Patty takes her work seriously, and it was this mindset that got her through high school with honors. Although, admittedly she isn't the sharpest blade in the box, but a good work ethnic does has its strong points. You don't even need to ask her to do anything...she just does it. She expects no thank yous either. It's just a matter of keeping everything together (for her sake). There's something about drama that makes Patty's head hurt, which is why she always preferred the company of men to women. 'Course her fashion sense has had people questioning whether she was a girl or a boy plenty of times in the past, not that she cares or anything.

Just be wary, when her patience runs thin (and it will), Patty tends to go into berserk mode. Luckily, that rarely happens...kind of.

Former employment: Patty used to work at a local coffee café where she brewed coffee as well as cooked. It is there where she developed some close relationships with the regulars. And before that, she was a babysitter.

Hobbies:
• Patty paints whenever she’s not working, or at classes. She had hoped to one day sell her paintings at an art festival, but then the virus broke out.
• Books are always a well enjoyed thing with Patty, especially books by Stephen King.
• Patty used to play the piano, but had stopped around her third year into high school.
• Messing around with different food combinations is always fun.
• Chemistry seems to have been Patty’s favorite class in high school. She still likes to looks stuff up on her computer every now and then.
• Honestly, who doesn’t like the common horror movie?
• Was a tennis player in high school.

History:

In all honesty, Patty never would have expected a massive zombie breakout to be something of reality. For her, it was just a game she would play with her high school buddies. In fact, Patty can safely say she never was really that interested in zombies.

Patty grew up dabbling in the fantasy genre of media. Her mother was a big fan of Disney, and shoved every single Disney movie she could find down Patty's throat. The little girl also got her fair share of dress up moments, where she was always acting as the mother, cooking for a complex extended family. This was something that stuck with her for life, even after her dress up days. At the age of four, Patty learned how to read, and from then on she dived right into the world of fantasy, while watching cartoons on the side. She was known by her peers as the weird girl. Patty hanged out with boys throughout her childhood and high school career. Instead of playing with dolls she played video game, and she preferred cartoons with lots of action instead of all those girlie cartoons. Not only that, but she enjoyed getting herself rough and dirty, even going as far as to wrestle with guys over her. No girl wanted to hang out with her, and it was the only the guys who actually talked to her, it wasn't until puberty hit that she really started becoming a social recluse.

Middle school was the beginning of the end of her glorious childhood. People began realizing that she was sort of shy, and too nice for her own good, so they began taking advantage of her. 'Course Patty really wanted to keep her guy friends, and began doing whatever people asked her to. She was a good student, always was, always will be. Smart, well behaved, and hard working. The ability to get almost all her work done was another thing her mother rammed into her as a kid. Unfortunately, kids like to take advantage of this, lasting her all the way through high school.

Her only true friend during this episode of her life, was a Krystal Umpierre, which she met at the start of sixth grade after a big move from the south. Like her, Krystal was a huge fan of fantasy AND gaming, and like her she was a social reject. During the sixth grade the pair created for themselves a kind of role play, where they created for themselves a world where they could do anything they wanted. At the same time they carefully planned out events in their new world, setting up an entire trade system. No one else knew what they were doing, that is until Danielle Oyler came to their school, a girl who like Patty wished to grow up to become an author.

They allowed Danielle to join in on their "game", right into seventh grade. It was around this time Patty discovered she had an artistic talent, and moved on to create maps for the trio's world, and little drawings of characters from their stories. Krystal and Patty grew closer, forming some sort of sisterly bond. However, Patty was afraid they were getting too close. At the beginning of eighth grade, she promptly ended her friendship with Krystal, favoring an ongoing relationship with Danielle. In an act of self-guilt, Patty began burying herself into the darker side of fiction (that is horror), and her drawings became dark and foreboding. She also closed herself off from anyone else, becoming deathly focused in her schoolwork, especially when high school was just around the corner. Like all other kids her age, Patty was looking forward to high school, it provided a way for her to escape her past a bit. The only problem was, she did not know which high school to go to.

It was Danielle that suggested she went to a high school for visual and performing arts. It was a high school she herself was applying for, but as a dancer. When Patty realized she could do artwork there, and be appreciated for it (another something she was bumming out about during this time), so she went all out for it, getting in with the help of her favorite art teacher Mrs. Bommer.

High school was like heaven for her. There she found for herself a whole new group of people just like her, geeky art students with nothing better to do than make up stories. She quickly made her way into their little clique, forming a permanent bond with a man whore who turns bisexual in sophomore year and then flat out gay in junior year, a stoic whose racist against his own race and enjoys critiquing others, a mama bear with a soft spot for guys with shaggy hair, a shaggy woobie (who will be coupled with the mama bear in year two), a cool guy who lives in the 60s, a shrinking violet (who will move in junior year), a laid back metal head, an army geek, a modest overachiever, a savvy singer (who will form his own boy band in junior year), a girl with a knack for the strange and out of the ordinary, and a foreign exchange student/that damn smart Asian kid.

Patty continued to be a good student, eventually finding that both Science and English were her best subjects. Speaking of science, she got impressive grades in Chemistry during junior year, and with the help of her father discovered she had a knack for cooking. On the other hand her artwork was greatly improved in this new school, and around Junior year she began attempting to sell off some of her work. Her mother also convinced her to sign up for tennis during the spring season since she was a big tennis player back in her time. All in all high school was a good year for her, not the best since she positively hated some people in the school, but it was good. During her junior and senior year, as she was looking to go to college for art, she began planning for a hypothetical zombie apocalypse with the mama bear Maya, her friend named Jenna, and the shaggy woobie called Shane. At the time, Patty didn't expect any actual apocalypse could happen. For her it was just a game, nothing else, and it was fun. They came up with entire plans, including one to determine whether your partner was a zombie or not, but the group diminished when it became time for graduation.

Patty got into a local school for art, Jenna went into the psychology field, and Maya went off to study to become a nurse. The only friend Patty managed to still have access to was one of her original friends, Danielle Oyler, who went off to go to school to become an English teacher. Patty found a job not too far from her college at a coffee cafe`, where she perfected her cooking skills that was taught to her by her father. Sometimes she would even try to incorporate some of her father's secret tricks into the cafe's menu. There she learned to break out of her shell and forge her own relationships with the regulars.

She was still boyish (in fact, by that time people didn't believe her when she insisted she was a girl), she still got good grades, she was still an easy target, but she had patience, something she needed in order to deal with some of the tougher customers. It helped of course that she worked as a babysitter before, and was the eldest of four, but ultimately she got so tired of dealing with people she just decided to let things fly. Or perhaps she just doesn't want to get into too much trouble. None-the-less patience was a virtue that could have only been perfected by her. And every now and then, she still likes to look up stuff on chemistry. Who knows why.

Bravery: 6 (I’m being honest)

Equipment:

Kept in Backpack
• Stephen King books (to keep her occupied)
• A large kitchen knife (for whacking and hacking, and stuff)
• Charger for her iPhone
• Some bottles of alcoholic beverages she got from a pub. (Why not?)
• A water bottle (something to drink while on the run)
• Tons of napkins
• Tons of snacks and foods both for herself and others.
• That ONE hand grenade that was handed to her.

Kept in coat pocket
• A lighter
• Her iPhone, which she took with her whilst abandoning her laptop

Fenix 2 more things

1. How is the infection spread? biting, airborn, parasites, water?
2. What time of year is it in the IC? cause I live in a pretty northern spot (not as north as you though) and we could use the weapons I talked about (if we didn't already find something better along the way)

Hey Livix I'm pretty sure that they already have some guns and stuff because they're at a military base. Not to mention that we're in Las Vegas, so the time of year really doesn't matter all that much.

Did I miss something? Or is there a starting equipment and weapon section that's supposed to be included?

CS

Name: Charlie Vaughn

Age: 23

Appearance/Weight: Charlie is a bit of a rebel when it comes to what he wears and how he maintains his appearance. He's the kind of guy who would wear a sleeveless leather jacket and ripped jeans to a black tie restaurant. In fact, when not in uniform this is usually what he wears at any given time. He's 5'10'' tall and weighs about 190 lbs, he has a very athletic looking body due to all the training he goes through. He has brown eyes and short black hair, the top of which is longer and sticks up a bit while the back and sides are much shorter and having spiked edges buzzed into them. And although he wears them only while playing games, he always keeps his glasses with him at all times.

Basically this guy http://blogs.nbcsports.com/home/vaughn.jpg , with these glasses http://cache.reelzchannel.com/assets/co ... vaughn.jpg

Personality: A take no crap from anyone kind of person, Charlie is the kind of man who won't take anything laying down. He has a short fuse and doesn't show much restraint with letting others know that he doesn't like something. Rude and lacking manners or any desire to act formally, Charlie has simple tastes in life and doesn't really require much for him to be enjoying things. Despite his rebellious attitude, he takes his job as a baseball player very seriously even if at times he lets his anger get the best of him. Aside from his bouts of anger which most people know him by, Charlie is usually not a very talkative and soft spoken person with a good sense of humor.

Former employment: Professional Baseball Player (Pitcher)

Hobbies: Baseball, Motorcycles, Working out, Going to bars, Meeting women, and Watching movies

History: Born into a bad part of the Cleveland suburbs, Charlie has had it rough since his early years. His father left before he was born, so it was up to his mother to work day and night just to keep food on the table for the two. Charlie learned self dependence in his youth, often doing his best to help out his mother any way that he could and usually by using illegal methods. He got caught up in several bad groups during his youth, spending their time stealing cars and shoplifting mostly. Living in the slums didn't provide Charlie with many options for entertainment, however a small run down lot did serve well as a baseball diamond for all the kids in the neighborhood. He would play baseball as often as he could, which was a nice distraction from all the laws he broke in order to help his family.

Aside from playing baseball, Charlie would also sneak into movies from time to time, this was something that he enjoyed almost as much as he did playing baseball. But despite all of his good intentions about helping his family with his deeds, one day he was caught stealing a car and sent to a juvenile detention center. After a brief time of incarceration, Charlie decided to try doing things the more legit way and found himself a job. Things went well for him after this, through playing baseball at his highschool he earned himself a scholarship to a decent college, and was later scouted by a team into the MLB. However his personality earned himself the nickname "Wild Thing" because of his tendency to argue with umpires, pitch at batters, and get himself thrown out of games.

I just mentioned that because usually it's not polite to change the set CS that was provided, if he wanted us to start off with equipment and weapons he would have asked for us to include that kind of stuff.... not to mention that we're starting on a military base for an airshow, so I'm not sure if they'd do weapon checks on people for an event like this.

WIP

CS

Name: Jonathon Smith

Age: 23

Appearance/Weight: There isn't that much to Jon. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a slightly pale complexion. His hair is usually buzzed down to less than an inch. He weighs around 160 pounds and is 5'5" He has thick, black glasses and is farsighted. He usually doesn't wear matching clothes and all the clothes he managed to put together clash terribly. He usually just wears a pair of blue jeans and a tan shirt.

Personality: Jon is a worried-looking person who is never quite at ease with himself. Whenever he does something, he wonders if he should have done it better. He enjoys company with people but can function by himself, usually by occupying himself with one of his hobbies.

Former Employment: Middle Manager

Hobbies:
Reading (Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z in particular)
Playing Cards
Watching TV
Playing Video Games

History: Not much to say about Jon. He got high grades and used the time he should have been studying to play video games, yet continued to get high grades no matter what. He got into a good college immediately and took whatever classes took his fancy. He didn't really decide on much and when it came time to graduate, he took the first management job he found, which was managing engineers, a job he came to enjoy even though he had no idea what he was doing. He didn't really have to do much. In fact, he came to realize that the less he did, the more his employees wanted him to be their boss.

Ah my bad, I rushed the CS and didn't add in that spot.

Yea I would like an Equipment section kept brief but informative with a simple list of what you are carrying that you will be updating as we continue.

But am I right in assuming that carrying weapons is probably not permitted?

It's permitted.

If you want to add in a skills section go ahead, but I believe hobbies and such were for that.

Ok... but why would anyone have weapons and stuff already if this happened completely by surprise? Wouldn't that take away from the need for our characters to find supplies and stuff?

That probably wouldn't be a problem if you're licensed yo use that weapon, have it somewhere else or is simply considered okayed at the air show.
Simply said, logic plays a big part here.

Name: Neil Pellegran
Age: 29
Appearance/weight: Neil isn't a great brute of a man, but neither is he short and small. "Just Right" would fit the look of this ex-detective. Standing at a height of 6'0 and weighing in at 186 lbs. Neil in in shape, but that's only because his job sort-of demands it. Being a lard-ass is one thing cops and feds try not to do when catching people in their line of work. His hair is a light brown that goes with his light hazel eyes. His skin gives him the looks that he's been out in the sun enough (his specialty was field-work) he has no facial hair to speak of. Neil wears dress jeans with a blazer and a simple vertical striped black and blue button up shirt, he wears a pair of workmen's boots designed more to look good then to actually be for work. He has a tie with the outfit, but it is off, now inside his jacket pocket, the jacket is unbuttoned completely, the top few buttons on the shirt are also unbuttoned. He wears a shoulder gun strap, of course, across his chest, the gun-holster itself is on the lower-left of his abdomen, considering Neil is right-handed.

Personality: Neil is a no-nonsense type of guy. Level headed, but only as much as a Fed could be, he hasn't seen everything, but he has seen a lot of things. When you work for the Vegas homicide department you get to see the underside of Vegas quite often,Neil is the man that the department often tasks to go looking for witnesses and other information. When in the presence of other people, especially in danger, Neil's fbi, and cop training help him out in leading other folk. Neil isn't the best leader, and would in fact, rather he work by himself, but if he needs to he will help others. Neil, being a college graduate, is pretty smart, but again, he's only good at human related criminal things. Neil would be the rock, although he'd want to be the rock in the back, away from everyone else. When it comes to criminals Neil is just doing his job keep the peace, he had no over-laying high morals, in fact Neil thinks morals don't exist.

Former employment: Former member of the Las Vegas federal bureau of investigation, homicide unit, worked as a field-worker. Has access to the fbi building and its armory there-off, as well as the police department.

Hobbies and Skills:
-Neil is an avid book reader although a bit picky, he is a definite follower of judging a book by it's cover
-Neil, in his younger years, was a somewhat avid collector of guns, he isn't as bad as some people, but he does own a small cabinet of legal and somewhat not-so-legal collection of weapons and ammo. Mainly pistols, shotguns, and the odd rifle or two.
-Human Relations: Because of his work, Neil can keep a group together and can also weed out any suspicion, because when you have a cop around what's there to be suspicious about?
-Perhaps being a fed will help with other NPC's? (or hurt)
- Training at the workout room in the department (only because he thinks he has too, and he does)
-Along with being an agent of the law, comes the ability to use and maintain firearms correctly. Nei has, had some training with small-arms and is pretty good with them, but not so good with larger weapons, not that he's a complete newby. he can and will use larger weapons if need be.

History: Born and raised in Vegas, Neil neither likes, nor doesn't like the vegas atmosphere. His family, was split up by divorce, but Neil was too young at the time to notice. Neil grew up with a police, step-father as a consequence, and is also perhaps the reason why Neil is a Fed himself. growing up Neil went to college in Nevada, and so he returned to Vegas after graduating and pursued career in the policing business.

There isn't anything that makes Neil stand out to others, other then his fbi status. Neil has realized that the "fbi-status" is something that comes silently in the nigh and over-takes a persons life when they've made it into the force. People look up to him, while some seem to look down. Whatever the case may be, Neil is just doing his job.

bravery: 8

equipment:

-Smith & Wesson M&P full-sized variant (with holster/strap) and 3 clips of ammunition. each at 17 rounds of 9mm parabellum (standard police caliber)

- a small mag-lite flashlight (on strap)

- badge

- and although he's never used one, that hand-grenade
