Endzone Finale: the ending

Postby Thy_Robocop » Sun May 30, 2010 3:20 pm

Or at least, what should have been the ending if Endling had more time on his hands:

And now that Endzone is complete, we shall be looking forward to more EverAfter... though, due to Endling's job and stuff, I highly doubt it will come in the next few months...
“How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?” Sherlock Holmes
"In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming." Lovecraft
"It's incredible how the human mind can devise such simple explanations to the things it doesn't understand, just to avoid looking at the terrible bigger picture that is the truth. Unfortunately, that won't help them when it comes knocking at the door." Alyssa Gillespine

Thanks I guess.

I do wonder what this place would be like if EverAfter did continue, though.

It would turn into a secondary Bleedman forum.

It won't if you've ever noticed the kind of fans that Endling attracts.

Not every fan is a emotional train wreak, or a hyperactive little bastard. Stop judging the people before you meet them.

Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. The past history of Bleed's fans does not paint a pretty potential future for Endling's fans. Plus Bleeds work is cute and colouful. Endling's work has a psychopathic red along with others with problems. The fans we'ld get would be emo's or insane.

Emos, huh? We already got plenty of those. And weren't quite a few of the regulars here introduced here by Endling's work?

Y'know what I mean. The regulars are regulars because they either weren't emos in the first place, or adapted to fit.

Exhibit A. Me.

Stereotypes are our pathetic attempts into ordering our world as we see fit. It helps us comprehend, but it is also extremely damaging as well. Avoid using them because if you judge someone before you meet them, you treat them that way, or they quickly become what you see.

If we didn't judge people or scenarios before we met them, we'd be dead.

For example, I will not trust a guy who was in prison when I meet him, because he was probably in prison for a reason. Stereotypes are people's ways of learning from other people's and our own mistakes.

Yeah, that's great. Believe in the goodness of stereotypes, because you're not too far from where the greatest examples of that took place.

I know.

But do you know what would happen if I lived in those times? My parents don't want me to tell anyone what my religion is because they're still afraid of the people with those stereotypes. That in itself is being steryeotypical but it's also a bloody good idea to be cautious and afraid of a certain group.
