hmm I'm on the opposite camp with that... I personally love Garna's style. It feels fresh, and new.
And the mixture feels just right with me

I know my style is still a work in progress. (But honestly I love it, I don't see many pictures that look like mine) And I don't see the mix of realism and anime/manga style as a problem. In essence isn't that what all cartooning is, a mix of goofy and the ideas of traditional figure drawing (I actually notice it a lot in anime/manga). Because even in cartoons we notice if proportions are off when they aren't meant to be.

Considering that i have seen many people get discouraged by critisism,im pretty happy to see that you are actually confident about what you are doing.

Mind you through,that if something is original that doesnt make it nesseserly good.

Never the less its pretty great that you dont see something as a problem,but as something to actually get better (im talking about your art style).

Lol. I know what you are saying. I hate it when people are given advice and they blow up and go "BUT IT'S MY STYLE! YOU DON'T KNOW NOTHING NOOB!? STFU!"

That's why I don't pull the..."that's just how my style looks" card. It's ridiculous.

I know my stuff isn't the best....but by george I'm gonna stand by it. *stands proud* (and in fact I'm VERY proud of this newest picture XD )

Personally I find your style, and especially the blending of realism and manga, to be very well crafted and aesthetically pleasing. But I don't know, it's not as if I really know much of anything about art.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I'll keep experimenting and see what I come up with. There is just so much I wanna do lately.....so expect more random stuff once I get through the OCT.
