@Grave:
I see you liked it. XD

@Mono:
Thanks. :)
I actually celebrate Christmas after the New Year, I just wanted to give those to people when they celebrated it (25th). XD Unfotunatelly, I didn't get the hq version of "Gilliardi Family Picnic" done on time. :( I got to my hometown on evening of 25th and just scanned few things I had drawn already to get it up in time...

Anyway, an art dump of most stuff I drew during last 2 months (There was actually even more, but I didn't like how they turned out. XD).
55 drawings, starting... now.

I forgot to post this when I posted those 55 drawings. Kinda a good thing, tho. XD

A whole lot of OCs made by me during last 3 years or so (some were actually made earlier, only redesigned in last 3 years):
Image

OCs, from top to bottom:
Airborne: D.S.F. (Deep Space Fiend, alien), Anti-grav aircraft, Holo (artifical being), Tenshi (black-winged humanoid);
Top row: B-Unit (android), Kyle (humanoid alien), John (humanoid alien), Nijuni (humanoid alien), Joy Stick (party-loving joystick), P.C. (Philips Coolie, living computer monitor >.>), Compunator (Blu-ray-looking machine), West (Computer Gunslinger), Digital Worm;
Middle row: Nick (artificially mutated human), A-Unit (android), Forum Necromancer, Spambot 2008, Web-bot 2008, Fuku (esper), Crash (esper);
Bottom (front) row: Dranton (beetle), Xerina (dark elf), Dranton Riley (anti-zombie specialist, human), Mechanical Girl (android), Nijuni "Black" Kuro (techno-mage), ??? (Love-crazed psycho girl), Eddy (easy-going, fun-loving shape-shifter), Robbie (a.k.a. Robo-Icy, android replica of esper Icy), Neko (demon rebel);

I still need to make up a name for the psycho girl... :unsure:

I've started playing "Abomination: The Nemesis Project" again few weeks ago and decided to draw few of the brood monstrosities. (Most of you probably never even heard of the game, they had some really bad marketing moves...)

Brood Initiate:

Brood Satyr:

These are the in-game screenshots of Initiates and Satyrs, respectively:

As you can see, I had to improvise a lot. XD The "Autopsy reports" from the game helped somewhat, tho.

Yes, it's for PC. Released in 1999, made by "Eidos" and "Hothouse Creations".

[OFF-TOPIC]They (Eidos & Hothouse) referred to the game as "It's X-Com meets the Dawn of the Dead!" and labeled it as "Action, Strategy, Mayhem". Thankfully, I saw the full game before seeing the demo (resulting in me buying it). Demo version had so many bugs it was ridiculous, so anyone who tried it probably thought "If demo sucks this much, how crappy's full game gonna be?".

Anyway, game starts with a rapidly-spreading plague, killing lots of people. "Project Nemesis" team was sent to the city where the plague seem to have originated, where they find the cityscape littered with strange organic growth and battles a religious cult. After many randomly-generated missions, the Brood appear. The Brood creatures are actually made from the corpses of the humans killed by the plague, outfitted with machines and weaponry to "reanimate" team. It is revealed much later in the game that all of these creatures are controlled by the Brood Mind, which is destroyed at the end of the game.
P.S.: "Project Nemesis" has 8 "super-soldiers", each with different set of "powers". Other agents are ordinary humans, plague survivors.

Anyway, a little bit about those 2 creatures:

Initiate - One (or parts from more) human male (dead) body is fitted with mechanical parts and "animated" as a cybernetic monster that you can see up there. You may have noticed that it doesn't have any eyes - in fact, most Brood monsters don't. Instead, Initiates have motion sensors and detect movement.

Satyr - This creature contains parts of human females, some canine and chameleon DNA, as well as lots of mechanical parts. Satyrs normally look like ordinary citizens, but when they detect an enemy, they change to their "normal" selves and attack. They work in pairs, as each has only one half of the brain (one brain hemisphere) outfitted with a device that let's them "communicate" with each other with a signal of the same wavelength. Apparently, they have no eyes, either, but they detect heat variation.[/OFF-TOPIC]

Thanks for the praise, BL, appreciated as always. Btw, why'd you change your thread's name several times after the last update? XD

Dude, I told you 'bout a dozen times 'till now - don't stress out so much about that pic. When you're done, you're done. I'm in no hurry. I know it'll be worth the wait, anyway. :)

If you're lucky, you might be able to find the "Sold-Out Software" re-release of "Abomination", it should be $5, I think.

2nd page, huh? That haven't happened in a while. Feels kinda strange. XD Been extremely busy, I'm afraid.

Not much new stuff. I mostly drew quick sketches lately, not much worth showing. 'Cept maybe this:
Image
Meet Senhyaku Juichi (Translated from Japanese: 1111), a "lol-tastic uber-1337" wanna-be.

Also, I drew the 1st 3 pages of Eddy's 2nd comic few months ago, just forgot to scan and upload them 'till now. For some reason, most of the comic got smudged somehow by now (yet all my other drawings and sketches in the same sketchbook still look just fine), so I had to "fix" it both traditionally and digitally. Anyway, I'm not satisfied with some of the "jokes" I used. They just don't even seem funny. *sigh*
http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc21 ... dy2_01.jpg
http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc21 ... dy2_02.jpg
http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc21 ... dy2_03.jpg
I stopped just when I got to the good part... If I do the "incoming" exams well, I'll have few weeks free and might just be able to finally get some of it done.

Also - about Meho's commission. I'm really, really, really sorry I haven't finished yet. Got some complications with few parts of the aircraft, but I got around that. Now I'm just kinda busy. :(
If it's any consolation, I don't think Aneri even STARTED work on Zega's commission. >.> The PM I sent her is STILL in my Outbox folder. o.0 I've got to catch her on MSN when I get the time...

Thanks. True, it is kinda wordy. Mostly 'cause Eddy talks alot. And when he doesn't talk, narrator uses his chance to explain what's going on. XD There should be less talk and more action next few pages, with Eddy running from the cat (not to mention comedy :) ). He'll still probably talk on every panel, just won't get the chance to say longer sentances. XD

Yeah, "Tom & Jerry" and "Loony Toons" were really awesome. Nothing beats the classics. :)

<New Stuff>

Unfinished sketch:
Image
Gonna re-draw that from scratch, the pose seems a bit off from what I was going for. Why the heck did I post this, anyway...?

Screencap of a Site Map for a "personal site" I made few months ago (for faculty). It's originally not in english and it contained my real name, but I... "fixed" that for this picture.

After the "personal site" we actually had to make a "commercial site", with 8 pages minimum. I made a 48-page site. :mrgreen: Won't show that one 'cause I don't feel like translating all of it, but I basically made a site for non-existing company, with company tag-line, legal disclaimers, company history, thousands of different articles available for sale (all with their own storage code), locations of their virtual shopping centers and headquarters, fictional affiliates, contacting through a fill-in form, company's book of standards (logo and it's variations, company's fonts, cards, reports,...),...

Unfortunately, I got a relatively low grade. Highest grades went to people who downloaded site templates from 'net and filled 8 pages with text they copied from existing sites (only slightly modifying them). >:( You can clearly see my faculty is Microsoft's educational center - highest grades go to those who steal others' work for their own, not the ones who did most work or put most effort in it. :roll:

"Cat & Eddy", a "Tom & Jerry" parody, obviously. Also - that "Nijuni Kuro" isn't written in my handwritting. I was mirroring a certain font. :mrgreen:

This actually really happened last week with 2 of my RL friends. Just for the record, the 2 pockets on the jacket are supposed to be different in size. The smaller one (left) is actually designed to hold a mobile phone, but he's using the regular, bigger one (right) 'cause his phone can't fit in phone pocket (designed for smaller models XD).

A sketch:
Image
Dragon's scales didn't turn out well, so I erased them. I'm gonna slightly redesign his head, too.

BL's Trotter and my psycho-girl. I finally came up with a name for her - I'll call her Maria.
Image
I didn't ask BL for confirmation about Trotter's fave poison, so that one's unofficial. XD

Ah, I see. I remembered original Trotter used the chainsaw, so I put "chainsaw" as his favorite weapon. I'll keep that in mind next time.

Update ahoy!

Image

Image
Image

Can't talk now, gotta get to the "Double Experience Event" in Mabinogi EU.

...
Just kidding. XD
Anyway, 1st one is just a random hooded swordsman and random creatures I came up with.
2nd one is my rendition of Machine Labi from "Shin Megami Tensei 2". Labi is a multi-legged robot with a holographic projector that projects the upper body of a priest. I had no reference, so it's a bit off AND I made few mistakes here and there. Probably gonna do a better one with a reference later.
3rd one... is just a random werewolf in mid-transformation.
And last one shows a skeleton crew. ... Literally. I know their hip bones are drawn wrong, I put it that way on purpose. They're just humanoid, not ex-human skeletons.

Well, that's it. Hope you like 'em.

Well, after having exams, projects and a paper to write, I finally find the time to update my thread.

Here's a short comic I drew one day between lessons at faculty, answering few questions about my OC Maria (the over-emotional psycho-girl):
http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc21 ... ory_01.jpg
http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc21 ... ory_02.jpg
I think it turned out rather well, considering how much (little) time I spent drawing it. XD

And here's a little something I programmed in Flash (AS2):
http://snafu-oct.awardspace.biz/swf%20s ... g_test.swf
Part of one of my projects. Use the arrow keys to steer, space to brake. Constant throttle is used, meaning you won't slow down if you release up/down key.

I'm gonna add a lot more stuff soon, 'cause I'm in a hurry now, as always. :(

@BL:
Thx, sorry I didn't reply earlier. Faculty takes a lot of my time lately. :( I really need to find the time to go through others' threads...
