It's been on for so long, it's had different writers, and has had to adapt to the times.

I'd say it's done pretty well. I am thoroughly enjoying the current season.

it shouldnt have overstayed its welcome

the film was the perfect opportunity to end it but they missed that

some bullshit right here

remember the episode with frank grimes? homer was written perfectly in terms of how hilariously irritating grimes found him
compare that to these days where its as random as more sensible family guy episodes

That would make sense since they favor each other (Groening and McFarlane).

But yeah, that episode was a riot.

Wow, lots of varied opinions. And some constantly repeated ones.

I don't really like the Simpsons anymore myself, but that was pretty funny. It made the song actually decent. I've never actually heard a girl who sounds so stereotypically Valley... and that isn't a compliment.

Bahaha I love how the general reaction in this thread starts off pretty high and then spontaneously dips into utter dissatisfaction. Not so much the fact itself, just that the positive and negative posts somehow clustered together.

also kesha is my homeboy i mean girl you best not be hatin' on her

the opinions do seem radically varied. But I just have to say I just watched the official video and this simpson's one is a MILLION times better than the original.
