Hey Visi, just finished watching your Live Stream. And I couldnt help but notice you're not using swatches? Wouldnt that make coloring a whole lot easier?
And interesting way of creating shadows. I usually use a black layer and turn the opacity down, but your way makes more sense.

Awesome vid, truly grand. I hope you'll be doing these more often, I could really learn a lot through those :3

    Using the eraser instead of opacity, you have to be smart with layers.

    @Black: Yup. Remi. Regular one. Her cat ears are only needed to be able to hear.
    I'm thinking she may grow out of it, and probably put them back on if she marries Crow. (xD)

yeah swatches are basically saved colors. it would save you the job of picking them out of an older image :3

you could even organize them according to character (at least, you can organize them in Illustrator. Not sure how Photoshop handles Swatches, but I do know they're there)
