What program do you use for coloring?

Photoshop, I make 4 seperate layers after the base colors are down. Then I just use a super light one for the top one, a slightly less light one for the second one, then I start with shading, so I make a really dark variation and do that for the third, and then for the fourth I do a slightly less dark one, I've liked the turnout, got the idea from Visi.

I suggest you use the Pen tool to make your curves especially on the big guy cause I can see your using the line tool to make your outline. Anyways it looks good so keep it up.

I like your style so much!

I was wondering. What tips do you have for drawing?
Like do you first do a rough sketch with a different color, then draw over that?
How many phases do you usually go through?

@Coosy : I miiiiiiight. (: If I have time.
@Alphie : Uhm, I have quite a few techniques when it comes to drawing.
-Most of the time, I either take a pencil or a light colored marker (IE lime green, red, pink, sky blue) and draw out a head, circles for shoulders, practically sticks for arms and legs, and a block for a body.
-Then, I take a pen, just because it's darker, and I go over the lines, adding in details, and breaking from the lines if I see it going somewhere different.
-Scan it all to the compy, bleh.
-Open on Photoshop, crate a new layer, normally named 'Outline 5-6 pixels'
-I use the line tool to outline the whole character, not the inner details, just the outside lines.
-Repeat the step only with 'Inline 2-4 pixels', then doing all the inner details.
-Create new layer for every color, and add them all in so it's all just solid colors.
-Add in 3-4 shading layers, Top one for the lightest shade, where the light hits, 2nd one for the second lightest (which goes under the lightest, as to not go over the lightest area), 3rd shading layer is the darkest, used for all the areas that are dark, then 4th (sometimes) is used to do the second darkest area (once again, it goes under so it doesn't go over the darkest areas I've already done).
WHEW, that was a lot. Hope it helped, though it probably didn't.
