Has anyone heard of Saiyuki and its sequel Saiyuki Reloded? It's a very good manga with blood, guts, gore and more blood. My favourite part is when Cho Hakkai rips out his own eye.

I have watched the anime but never have I read the manga.

I haven't seen the anime, it's supposed to be pretty good though. Who's your favourite character Jin?

"Saiyuki" was the Japanese language version of the classic novel.
And again no, it's not the manga/anime Saiyuki I'm referring to.
