dating sim and dungeon crawler? Huh I thought it would be a FPS for some reason. explain more.

Well to explain parts of the plot would make about as much sense as a chicken truck hitting a small clown car and catching on fire.

It is an RPG similar to other megemi tensai games. Persona 3, Noctourne, Devil Summoner Digital Devil Saga. Each character in your party has their own seperate abilities but your main character can obtain new monsters that are his abilities, and combine other monsters to make different combination's.

The dating sim follows classic Jap dating sim rules. The more time you spend with each character the more they like you. As you build links it strengthens the abilities to fuse monsters together.

The only thing that was kind of odd about the game is that for the first 2 hours or so of the game it's just cut scenes and dialog plot. But considering my game went about 70 hours it's kind of a drop in the bucket.

70 Hours just going through the game?
Or 70 Hours doing the main arc + any bonuses?

There are bonuses but I didn't really do much in the way of side quests. Mega Ten games are all like that. It took me like 85 hours to do Noctourne on hard and I didn't do the super optional Labyrinth of Amala dungeon.

Watched both Neon Genesis Evangelion (as well as the movie) and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann again. I've gotta say I love TTGL more. Kamina is the greatest and thats that.

Well it's really not that complex. The system is actually pretty intuitive. But yeah it is a very time intensive game. When I was playing it I would play 10 hours and not even realize it. Really it was the best 20 bucks I spent this year.

Guren Laggan was good. It didn't stick with me as much as most animes though. It was a one time through watch be done with anime. Still great though.

And 20 bucks? Dang what system is it for again? ps2 isn't it?

Yeah it's for the PS2, but I got it used and it was a good deal used, usually game stop isn't so kind.

Fucking <3 Persona 4.

And really, to get everything you could out of it (read all the dialogue possible and get all the personas, and play the bonus dungeon and bonus boss), you're looking at a minimum of two play throughs, which would be like 150+ hours, but that's assuming you save and reload at certain points to get all the dialogue.

Then there's the case of how much you actually choose to enter the TV World/Dungeon, and which difficulty you set it to (Hard is Hardcore).

Comes with good music.

It's turn based though, Dave. So you might not like it. On the other hand, it's kinda like Pokemon, so who knows. (It even kinda has gym leaders and legendary pokemon, though, you don't spend very much time catching personas, so much as fusing a whole bunch of them in different combinations to get them all. There is also only one P4 game, rather than versions.)

+137 Hours on Disgaea 3 and I'm still not done with it :P
I might need to get P4 now. I love games that I can spend just so many hours on.

Weather in Fresno is perfect and pleasant like always. I fucking LOVE the weather out here and officially I don't think I can live in a cold state ever again.

With that said CA is run by monkeys. It drives me slightly nuts. Especially when operating a business (shark robot, snafu... others...) it makes things annoying. Plus they want to raise taxes like crazy. Soooo I've been considering St. George UT or Las Vegas, NV. Ups for St George, my nephew will be going to school there next year and he's rad as fuck. I've been playing xbox live with him for weeks now and in person would be that much more fun. Down sides they for some reason haven't had a dramatic housing crash cheapening effect like other places so the rent will be more than it should in relative other places. And taxes will be normal. Down sides it's in Utah, Mormons still exist, It's dry, and it's relatively smallish without a nearby airport I'd have to drive to Las Vegas or something (not a super big deal but still.)

Las Vegas is even cheaper taxes and rent than Utah, it's a hell hole for heat though. It's a rad city, very dry, kinda scaryish, I don't like gamblng, closer to CA. Has a huge airport. people would visit. No nephew.

Or stay in CA, great weather, great people, terrible taxes/regulations.

Tough call.

It's not about the sex it's about taking the man to the tool shed. Do it like a viking and wear the hat. You have a new world to conquest.

The weather here is beggining to rise in temperature, perfect for going to the beach and similar events, but terrible on the nights. I tried sleeping with my usual covers and i felt like i was slowly cooking my skin.

I want summer already, rain everywhere.

I'm a bit worried about summer now. I fear it will be unbearably hot out here. We'll see. And if I move to Vegas I'll melt. I dunno I'm a fan of heat usually but we'll see.

Purchasing Audiosurf for $10 over steam is the best use of $10 I think I have ever spent.

I rather would just find a crack then waste 10 measly dollars
...which I did.

Then my computer stopped working a week later :3
What? Money's tight these days and I'd rather spend it on something with more value. Besides, I got bored of Audiosurf pretty fast.
