What's a demon line and a Kat inverse, whaa?

Demon lines in most anime's are shown on half-demons, or if a demon is sealed inside like Naruto has those lines. I mean write Kat Inverse on top. Thats her name.

The computer I'm on atm doesn't have a coloring program, so it'll stay all sketchy-like.
Whoever wants to color it can be my guest.

in my current project, I need to color and shade a forest at nighttime. I also need to know to make a fire and light it correctly.
Respectively, I need to shade and light the characters so it goes with the fire light and the shadowy night of the forest.
Can anyone help me find tutorials to help me do this? My search skills are so mediocre, and I could really use the help x3
