I've been itching to start something. A project, I guess you can call it... But I've been wanting to make a serious webcomic for some time now. The problem is, I'm horrible at storylines, I can't finish them, and my jokes are always horrible and irrelevent to the events. So I was wondering if someone would like to help me out. I do the art, the person does the writing.

Not that that guarantees I'm good at it, but do have the desire to be at least, and a couple of half finished stories here and there. I could also color the strips since I'm rather good at that and enjoy...

Would anyone like to draw/create me a book cover?

It's for one of mine which I finished some time ago, but am now revising and generally cleaning up.

Being both poor and stingy, I'm afraid I can't offer real money for the work, but I will credit the cover with your name in the book, and send you a free copy of such (with your cover of course).

The book is horror/sci-fi (and some black humor), about a corrupt cop in a corrupt future city.

It's a very dark work,with violence and adult scenes (though it's not porn).

If someone's interested, please let me know. I can supply a copy of the book in eform for serious offers.

I really don't have any ideas about cover design, or how it should look, which gives you a free hand.

Post below or PM me if you're interested. I'd like to see an example of your work as well, if you could supply a link.

How do you guys feel about doing an "Add-To comic"? Basically one person adds a page, followed by someone else adding a page, etc... Could get interesting to see what story we would come up with and seeing how our art would compare to one another.

That'd be a great idea but sadly the working time and the system would go horribly cuz.

A) Everyone will want to put a page
B) Everyone sees the first page and works on the second page all at the same time
C) Some finish earlier than others and end up posting first
D) Others get frustrated not being able to post their comic first and end up having to do the next page prior to the one recently posted
E) Same thing over again.

Well if we devised a system, such as if you post a page you have to wait for five more to be posted, or after one week of inactivity before you could add another one. This could stop most problems, and we could always decide on a possible way to take turns when it comes to adding onto it.

SO basically, after we get an order going, we just hope no one drops out of said order.

And I love the idea, sounds pretty nifty. ^^

Enough with the tomfoolery: it's time to play.

If anyone dropped out, someone else could take their place, or better yet in the beginning we reserve spots, and then we add a page at a time, such as I place a first page to get a setting, then the person who reserved the next spot edits it with their page, and continues from their. If a person who reserved a spot doesn't post anything for 3 days, they are PM, and if they do not reply, they are effectively skipped.

Some more rules will be added, such as we stick to a basic story with no sudden massive changes/twists unless agreed upon.
