HEY YOU! Awesome works! I don't get to see darker styles that often, so it's refreshing to see something not so cute. As odd as that sounds. XD *might have a bit of goth in her*

I dun have any illustration tuts, sorry. It pretty much just coomes down to balance of color and the overall picture, if I understood right. So what you may need instead are color and perspective tuts. >> I dunno, I'm not you.

As for inking... well, I dunno if it'd help but...

You could try inking while holding your paper over a window (preferably with alot of sunlight). It takes a while, but if you're patient and have a steady hand, then it'll get the job done.

What I do, since my hand is as steady as a nervous rabbit, I take my original drawing, scribble over the back of it with pencil, then lay a clean sheet of paper under the scribbled side and redraw the picture. When I'm done, I just ink the copy. Of course, I suggest something to hold down the papers while redrawing. ;;

I'd also suggest trying to draw a few random comic pages, since things like overall page layout and speech bubble placement will need to be learned. >.>; it looks simple, but it's not... *hides old works*

For the color style of your comic, I would suggest darker colors with soft shading. Cell shading will take away from the feel of your story, if anything. Too bright colors will do the same. Dun pull Bobobo art on us, please. XD

Hmm... What else... yeah, editors are an artists best friend. They actually bother with spellcheck-- *Shot by her friend who edits their work*

What program do you plan on using for inking? There are some decent tutorials on DeviantArt for GimpShop, Photoshop, and the like.

well I'm kinda unsure at this point I'd like to do it with photoshop CS3 that i got on my computer but I'm new to this so I'm not sure what would be best. Anyone know what the pro's use? (endling & bleedman for example?)

i really am sorry...i loath real life right now. all i want to do is start the alice comic...but the way it stands now because of my stupid scaner and inability to compleate digital works...i cant even get my feet off the gound. theres just not enough hours in the day
