My characters HAVE cool names, but they're their second names.
I want to get these names out when i actually do something worth of showcasing about them, until then, they're simple humans and therefore have simple human names.

My only non human OC's have the most awesome names evar: Mu the Cow and Pixelman.

I finally managed to put something halway decent together so I'm submitting it. It's a little Arlan and Evil Ninja action.

I must admit, though, that there are a few things I'm at odds with in the picture, but my gallery has been starved for some time, and overall I still like the picture anyway.

Let's just call this a work in progress for now. (I'll scrap it after I figure out what I'm doing with it.) Also, ignore the horribly erased lines about it; I have real trouble actually planning my pieces, so I have a bad tendecy to change my mind quite a bit during the actual drawing process.

This is an augmented version of the original design I came up with for said character a while, and after redesign after redesign, I found I liked the original better than what I could come up with. And it's not just with this one, either.

As for the name, I really wanted a more science-fiction-y name than "Rin Hakumei" for this character, considering she's an extraterrestrial of sorts, and not some Japanese chick, and "Raneis Adara" is what I came up with off the top of my head, and I kinda like it.

Just a few quick drawings I've done while trying to get back into the artistic mood...

I'll list each character's name, and a small tidbit of information about said character and whatever other comments I feel like adding.

This will be moved to scraps when I say so.

(From left to right, top to bottom.)

Raneis Adara: (Hair changed a bit, and her eye shape has changed.) The daughter of the Arkadian Emperor, and leader of the Arkadian Royal Army.

Nathaniel Bastion: (The half-body shot being most current design, though I kinda goofed on the torso and arms somewhat. D: ) The main character of my little universe, whatever it may be named. He's a high school student and [space]shipwright, among other things.

Marcus Valentine: Captain of the Royal Acktooian Guard and resident "pretty boy". Apparently he has the hots for Acktoo's reigning princess. (Not exactly his best shot for the "pretty boy" image, but whatevs.)

Michelle Whatever-her-last-name-is: And older version of a request drawing I have in the works for Coos. (She's his character, so If you wanna learn stuff about her go to his side of DA.)
