K well, there's your problem.
4 Mages and 3 Prinnies? Totally useless.

You only need 1 Mage, get it to Prism and then Galaxy to fill in every role of Mage, and multiple Prinnies are useless.

Blegh. But having multiple mages would be awesome. As soon as they get to rank 3, I am reincarnating them as Prism mages. because my Star mage is lvl 15 now. and by rank 3, will be at 25 at least.

Well, I am in Etna mode now.

Laharl party is :
Laharl. duh
Etna
Prism Mage
4th level Healer (IDR ATM)
3rd level thief
1st level Geo Changer dude.
That's about it. I used my other, weaker, story characters as meat shields, occasionally, but that's about it.

Oh, you want tiers too?
All the creatable in my party are Tier 6. Except the Prinny, who only in D1 goes to a tier 5, Prinny God

well, I haven't unlocked them all, yet. In fact, I am putting off Laharl mode on my PSP for now to play Etna mode on my DS. Etna is now at level 30. soon, she will have 5100 mana. You know what that means.

My current Etna party is:

Etna, level 43
Healer, a Sage, level 21, 1 transmigration from Cleric.
Prism Mage1, a Prism Mage, level 13, 1 transmigration from Star Mage.
Dragon, a Fafnir, level 30
Antoire, level 27
Flonne, level 5
FireMage, a Prism Mage, level 8, 1 transmigration from Red Mage.
IceMage, a Prism Mage, level 6, 1 transmigration from Blue Mage.
WindMage, a Prism Mage, level 1, 1 transmigration from Green Mage.
FirePrinny, a Private Prinny, level 14
IcePrinny, a Private Prinny, level 14
WindPrinny, a Private Prinny, level 14
Hoggmeiser, level 14

And that's everybody. I just transmigrated my 3 mages, and am now leveling them. I plan on later reincarnating them into Prinnies, then into different Monster types. My Prinnies, I don't have any plans for, currently. I may reincarnate them into a fighter, a brawler, and an archer. I'll see.

I don't. I was just posting everybody I had. They really haven't changed much since then.

Healer is now 25.
PrismMage1 is now 21.
WindMage is now 8.

That's all the changes since my last post.

I plan on getting everybody to 25, at least, though. Because at 25, they'll be able to actually damage Maderas (who is kickass strong in Etna mode.), instead of only my Dragon, my healer with her extremely high int, my Prism mage with her high int and high star level, and Etna. Nobody else could actually do any significant damage to him.

Try supporting your infantry with light artillery, or 24/7 all weather air support for when things get rough. They'll appreciate you for it.

I meant 4.

4 Mages are useless, specially since you also have a Healer.
I only have 1 Mage, and a Gargoyle that uses Heal and Espoir. perfectly fine with this.

because ranged damage is win. and if I have 4 ranged damage dealers, plus a healer/damage dealer with a shit load of intelligence (comparatively. I know your weakest character that you use has three times as much if not more, coos), I can win without ever taking damage. its strategy. I also plan to make an archer at some point...
