No, as in my router has no WiFi and none of my neighbours do so I can't leech.

I'm using an old D-Link modem that needs replacing but I'm too cheap. Leave me alone. I'll set up my USB WiFi later.

Jeez, all you people getting your pokemon to 100. The only way that I could do that was use the MissingNo cheat in the first games.

okemon thread, YES! I still love that game...I remember playing my brother's Blue when I was five or something. It was my first time trying it...and I failed and gave up ecause , no matter what my brother said, I refused to go in the tall grass because I was told not to. Gawd, I was stupid.

I got a friend's old copy of Yellow later and enjoyed it, but have since given it to my little brother. I also got and played Gold, which I though was amazing, but it's broken now...I don't know why, but you can't open the continue file, and when you try to save a new game it won't let you. *sigh*

The first time I SERIOUSLY played the games instead of just using it to goof off a little every day or two was when I got Sapphire. I loved it! It was when I first bred Pokemon (I remember being a bit amazed when I put a Poochyena and a Skitty in there and got eggs...), and I loved Contests, pointless though they were. I battled and beat the Elite Four like six times before I made the mistake of lending it too my little brother, who promptly lost it. I got revenge by stealing his Blue Mystery Dungeon game (our first DS game), and then losing it...

When the newest games came out, my brother got Pearl and my sister got Diamond, but didn't really like it and gave it to me. I adored it and was doing very well with it, rasing a bunch of my newbie Pokemon I'd caught and never trained to beat the Elite Four...

Then my sister got mad at her Nintendogs game and spiked the DS that was shared between me, her, and our brothers. Resulting in the utter destruction of the DS. And my family's a little tight on money, so my mom said we won't be getting a new one anytime soon...I haven't played my precious Pokemanz since last May.

I was able to get 4 of my pokemon to lvl 100 withought cheats.

Once again, a perfect opportunity to study what happens to people when their obsession is denied them. And anyone who says that they are not obsessed with pokemon, does not play the game. Those things are fucking addicting.

I know! My sister just didn't like it because she's rather easily confused, even stupid sometimes, and got contused. I've actually handled not playing the game rather, well, actually, but I still take out my Diamond cartridge and fiddle with it occassionally and feel sad. And when I went to an anime con, saw a giant pillow shaped like a Master Ball, thought about how I had not yet used mine in my Diamond game, and couldn't resist buying the thing. But whatever. Also, I'm still hunting through my house in hopes of finding one of the games my brother lost so I can play THOSE, at least.

Seriously though, I hold back my nerdiness on many things but I can even freak out friends (Who are also doing IT degrees) with my Pokémon nerditry.

It's also a choice of, A) play Pokémans and discuss it, or B) freak out with emotional/psychological problems that have no basis. GUESS WHICH WINS.

Yay! Thank you. I'm well aware that anyone who claims they don't like Pokemon either never played it, is a moron, or LIES! Hee. I'm currently forceing my friends to admit they're still into Pokemon. After bugging one of for a while, she got herself Yellow and is currently almost complete with her PokeDex. I feel so proud of her. Unlike my DS smashing sister.

Quick question. I've never had a Flygon because whenever I saw a Trapinch in Gen 3 I was stupid and ignored it. Should I totally make a super awesome Flygon? Yay, or nay?

I played a little of pokeyman during my time.
When Visualboy got gold, Pokemon Ruby was the first game I played.
it was quite addicting and I played it for several days, after I finished the Elite 4 it felt boring and I just stopped playing it.

I haven't played pokemon ever since.

Same thing happened to WoW only much faster, like on the 3rd day I said "Screw this!" and uninstalled the game.
