Her legs are abnormally short and her head form is weird. Also, the lines you drew are choppy (unless that's how you meant it to be, in that case don't pay attention to me) and the stars only cover one part of the dress.

The lines and the stars were purposeful, and her legs are supposed to be forward(her butt is back and and her back is supposed to be bent) Does the pose need to be more apparent? Or are her legs still too short even for the pose? Also, The head is not supposed to be properly proportioned for a human, it's kinda stylized I guess. The more I know, the better I can make the next female I draw, so crit on! :)

Even reclined as she is, she would still be a dwarf if she standed still.

Also, I get that it's supposed to be a really long gown but beware the trap of not drawing feet!

Hmm? I've used "jaja" For a long time, I even built up the habit of saying ja like "ja" rather than "ya" IRL. >.<

hmm, well the face seems to be a little off, could possible just move the left eye, the nose and the mouth down a little and make the right eye smaller...or...you could move the face shape (chin, ear, etc.) over and make it closer to the front view of the face

and the handle of the sword is slightly off at the point where it meets the blade (could just make the oval further out or make it a little more flat)

the blue...energy?...thingies may look a little better if their outlines were either the same color as the color inside (eg. the blue) or be a slightly darker or lighter color (depending on the type of energy your looking for [lighter - more pure energy, darker - ...well dark energy :P])

other than that it looks pretty good ^_^

*oo one more thing, maybe if you had some smoke or wind blowing in the backround perhaps so that it doesn't have just a dullish grey it might improve how it looks :D*

I just wanted to suggest a possible idea for an Art Board event (not necessarily a competition): what is we did a sequential art collaboration? Like one person does a panel for a story, and the next person continues it with their own panel, and the next person does the same, etc. It's been done a couple times on DA before, and I don't know if it's been done here or not, but I thought it might be fun.

We've tried similar things before and they haven't exactly been successful, but feel free to try.

I like this idea, but instead of a panel, maybe one page of a comic. Each person involved in the process will have a week to complete his/her page or pass his/her turn, and it will move from person to person on a pre-determined list.

Some friends and I have been planning something similar recently.:3

So I've tried enlisting some help on DA with this collaboration idea I have, but I haven't gotten much of a response. So, I'm now turning to the good old SNAFU Art board to see who might be interesting. It involves the Green Lantern Corps of DC Comics, along with the other 6 similar institutions. Check it out if I've piqued your interest.

I have a request:
Can someone make this picture a worthy avatar size for Snafu, just so the head and shoulders are seen, and then take that and make it an avatar for DA?

Coosy would be grateful.

I'm confused.

What part of that couldn't you do yourself? You color it in photoshop, don't ya?

Yeah but, I suck at resizing. Really bad.
I can never get it to a good size that doesn't look fuzzy for distorted and crap.
And trying to do that for a DA avatar is a nono.

*is thinking resizing has to be the easiest thing to do in a picture editor*

Well, I can't do it, since for some reason I can't get partial transparency to work right, so only pure white get's transparent at all.

Thank you Jay. [oh, and your avatar makes no sense ]

And I guess I'll try making myself an avatar for this forum, since you say resizing is so easy.

Added after 13 minutes:

That was so much easier than I thought. :D

These are just some doodles, but this is pretty much my art style, so some critique would be helpful.

I am requesting some art of a rather vague nature.

I am in the process of creating a pen & paper RPG ruleset. The customization of one's character is open ended, so there are no actual "classes" in it, as is the norm, but I'm going to implement some "builds" to illustrate different concept you can build a character around. Can't illustrate without an actual illustration, right? Drawing them all myself would be tiresome and probably feel unimaginative, so if anyone wants to do any, it would be a great help. The RPG is generic (means it can fit any setting), so it doesn't even have to specifically be fantasy or sci-fi. Color or no color is fine too. The only requirement is that it's a character who is more or less able on a battlefield, is built around some concept and is cool/awesome/epic. Oh, and the character doesn't have to be human either. Actually, I'd almost prefer if it weren't.

Some suggestions:

Lady Luck (my RPG actually have a luck stat(would probably be blindfolded or some such))
Battlefield Tactician
Cyborg with blades in arms (*cough*)
Soldier in Exoskeleton
Raging Barbarian
Defensive Fighter
Fencer
Any generic class from any game (warrior, ranger, monk, geomancer, ninja, sinner, prinny(?), knight, time mage, etc.).

You'll be credited when I release the thing, of course, but it's not as if I'm gonna make money of the thing, so can't offer that :P. I'll be accepting anything, really, regardless of quality, type and tools. B/W and color, likewise.

Thanks in advance :D

Yes, your artwork is developing in a correct and promising way.
And buying Photoshop is not always the answer, there are great similar programs like The GIMP, wich is similar to photoshop and it's free.

Here is a link to it's main site.
