Name: kuriame nightsong. many of his friends call him kujo.
Appearance: kuriame is about average height for his age, standing at 5’4. You wouldn’t think it though, seeing as how he has a very wiry frame, and lean, compact muscles. Even over the years, he refuses to abandon the sandals and simple clothing. Though certain circumstances, he’s taken to wearing all black. His face is heart shaped, with a prominent chin. As time progressed, his brown hair slowly darkened, till it was almost black. As well as that, he decided to grow it out to shoulder length. The physical training at school has given him hair trigger reflexes. He excels in the defensive, mastering various techniques of the staff. Though, his offense is negligible. Due to his teacher, Kuriame’s taken to carrying around a jug of water tied around his waist, for practice and the like. He still takes to wandering the halls playing the lute very often. It’s one of his hobbies, and something he enjoys immensely.
Main element: Water
Weapon of Choice: a long staff, made of red oak wood. several owl feathers hang from leather thongs atop the staff. engraved on the top of the staff is a snarling puma. in the middle of the staff is a long hand grip made of molded leather.
Personality: Kuriame is still a quiet person. Even though he’s been at the school three years, Tatiana, Ren, and Thorne remain his few closest friends. Kujo’s fine with that though. By nature, he’s a very solitary man. Oft times when someone mentions that, he just laughs. Instead of frolicking with friends like many at the school are apt to do, Kuriame spends most of his spare time reading, and researching various subjects he has a passion for. Because of that, he’s a very intelligent person. A scheming mind, one that’s never at work, always coming up with new plots and plans of all kinds. A few are unnerved by the gleam of intelligence in his eye. He tends to hide his feelings, and bottle them up inside. Thus, only a few are able to read his emotions well. That’s nothing to worry about though, due to his mellow and laid back attitude. Of course, he’s always got room in his heart for light hearted fun and pranks. Very rarely has something invoked his rage, but when something does, it’s one of those epic, never forget, moments.
Three year history: If nothing else can be said, the three years have been eventful. When Kuriame went home after the first year, he found disaster had struck upon his home. A plaque had hit, and eradicated most of the population. Only a few of his brothers, and mother survived out of his family. Grief almost stopped him going back to school, but they didn’t want him catching the disease while out there. After that disaster, he took to wearing all black, and became more withdrawn. Each year, he goes back and helps with the recovery effort as much as possible. With few family, and all his friends occupied helping their own family, Kujo became solitary.
In school, Kujo always hangs with his main companions. Tatiana, Ren, and sometimes Thorne. Ren is, and most likely will always be, the peacemaker of the group. He’s always there, a steadfast and strong friend for Kujo. When the pressure of life gets to him, many times he vented his feelings at Ren. Then, we have our oh so lovable personality, Thorne. He’s like a shot of insane. But then, we all knew that. The man can be aggravating, but on the whole, hanging out with him has proved to be an… enlightening experience. Last in his group of close friends is Tatiana. Kujo relates well to her, both having come from seemingly foreign places. The two comrades can often be seen in the hallways, heads together, planning their next shenanigan. Another noticeable thing amongst the years was a decrease in arguments between Kujo and Leges. They might not have been best buds, but they weren’t enemies. With Leges changing his view on others religion, Kuriame began to relax around him. A respectful relationship was formed between the two. After all, Kujo was one of the few who didn’t dislike the man.
