A Guild Wars discussion thread. Those of us who already play Gw can just talk about stuff, like the upcoming Guild Wars: Eye Of The North. Someone who is considering buying it can ask the advice of older game members. To start off, we post our most used character names.

I’m definitely excited for the release of GW:EN in the next few weeks. We finally get to figure out what in the world happened to our little Gwen after the Searing. No coincidence with the naming dynamic there. New playable races, a more open ended storyline, and we get to fight the Charr again. What’s not to like?

I feel that as long as the armor is full power, then it doesn't matter. My current set is an ancient set of pyromancer armor.

Soth, I would definitely recommend it. Nightfall has several excellent new game features, including the use of heroes. Oh, and if you are the leader, or a prominent officer, add that to your name post.

I know that feeling. Been wearing the same old 1.5k druids armor that that got from Droknar's Forge way back when. I think it's time for a upgrade...

I loaded the Gw:En trailer to my Mp4 player. That's how awesome it is.

I really don't get people's obsession with getting 15 k armor. It's a complete waste of money, even if it does look fucking awesome.

Me either, though I think it's more of a status symbol than anthing else.

My little brother has two (Or three? I can't remember) characters decked out in 15k armour, and one character actuaclly has two sets, one for tanking and one for runs (He does them for free 'cause he likes hearing the paid runners complaining). Apparently they aren't as hard to get as people make them out to be.

Having said that, I do fully intend to get 15k Druid armour. That shit is badarse. Sure, it only has a bit more armour rating, but once you're at level twenty it's a good goal to have.

Hi all I'm actually still getting higher up on the game so only a Warrior/monk at level 11 of the same sn as mine here. I'm actually hoping to actually GET cool armor and weapons...but till then I think I'll like the dungeons in Eye of the North.

I see a message that says the emperor is arriving in shing jea monastery in five minutes for the dragon festival. I'm leaving in five minutes. Damn. And I think this is the last time the emperor shows up. I dunno for sure.
