heh well guidelines help. Sometimes i do them sometimes i dont, but when i want to do something right, i make the lines because if not most of the time it will look really bad

guidelines also help when your copying something

ill stop doing the lines when I get better, im still learning

I do that too but only if I want to color them otherwise I like to leave them as it is for me it gives the drawings a sketchy feel

I only use guide lines for the face. Everything elses I scribble until I get the shape I want then erase the exese lines.

My brother Rockwell taught me this technic and it works real well.

yeah you can see most of my drawings are upper body only ill try more bodies in my next next drawing, because i have something to put here already but dont have the time yet

I like your work. Your pencils are tight. Your inking is good(I'm assuming digital, so that's not really an inking compliment there.). And as much as I dislike Oekakis, yours are nice as well.

sorry if it doesnt look clean (and hes leaning backwards on purpose just so you know ) its also a sketch so there are lots of obvious faults on the body

finally its weekend so i find some time to color a drawing I posted. Simple colors, it was more of a practice on shading. Also the colors were taken from my countries flag (Venezuela) how original :



I played with contrast and got this:



and I eliminated the flat colors and left the shading and somehow I got this:




which one do you like best?
