Chapter 18
“The Fallen”
The Sun was sitting; the clouds were strange orange in color. In the
middle of Megaville was the city’s largest park; in the middle of the park
was the largest hill in all of Megaville. Hundreds of people, all dressed in
black, were standing there, sobbing, crying or just plain sad. In front of
them was the highest priest in the city, he was calling his blessings. In
between the priest and the people were a lot of crosses, on each cross
were a picture of those whom had fallen from the last monster attack on
this fair city.
Four days had passed since Balrog and the Leech lord died. Nothing had
been seen or heard from Bubbles, Boomer or Tina. They had been
marked as one of the fallen.
Three of these crosses had pictures of all too familiar people, Bubbles,
Tina and even Boomer. The professor was there with what was left of his
girls. Buttercup had bandages all over, she was in a horrible condition, but
she lived through. Blossom was there also, but in a wheelchair. With
them was Dexter, his arm were fully bandaged and strapped to make
sure he didn’t move. Dexter and Blossom had become much closer and
Buttercup was beginning to respect him a little.
Two cloaked kids were there also, Brick and Butch were paying their
respect to their fallen brother. They had lost all interest at trying to kill the
powerpuff girls. This was a sad day, so many had fallen.
Somewhere in New York…
“Welcome to McCracken’s, how can I help you” Said a pretty woman.
At the counter stood an orange man, he had a large brown coat and hat
on. Beside him were Bell, Bean, Bop and Berry. Bell was happy that her
father had stopped those ridiculous world domination plans, Queen Vexus
had ordered every cluster to return home, and she had better plans for
them, as she had lost interest in earth. Bean, Bop and Berry weren’t
nearly as happy as Bell, they had been searching for Shad for two day
until they realized that he must surely be … gone.
“What do you kids want?” Asked Dr.X.
On top of the Himalayas. inside a cave, which was created by machines,
hovered Goliath. He was overlooking the creation of the new base. It was
much larger and better created, hence he had enough time. He hovered
through a corridor, that particular corridor had over ten mechanical
guards. The guards defending the door at the end of this corridor, moved
out of Goliath’s way. Goliath entered the room. It wasn’t large, but it was
really well done. At the end of the room, standing in front of a large
screen, which overlooked the entire base, stood Tina. Nobody knows why,
not even Tina herself, but for some reasons she didn’t die. The leech
within her was dead though, she couldn’t open her jaws anymore, her
tongue was a part of her inner leech, but now it was gone. She had lost all
her powers but one, her first drained power.
Dr.Robotnik thought Tina.
Though Tina didn’t know why she was still alive, she had her guess. Didn’t
the leech lord say that she, like all leeches, were originally humans? If so
then maybe with his death, the real leeches died and they turned back
into their original self, a human. Somehow she didn’t feel bad at all over
that loss. But she knew that many other leeches would be furious. She
could never return home, because she would most likely be executed.
“Tina…” whispered Goliath.
“Yes, what is it Goliath?”
“We found what you are looking for…”
“Those two?” Asked Tina, her voice now filled with sudden happiness.
“Yes, just like you had guessed. The chemical X does protect its carrier,
even when the carrier is unconscious. They are both frozen and
surrounded by an energy sphere”
“Those … are excellent news indeed”
“But we should hurry to pick them up”
“Alright, I’m going there personally. I’m going to bring them along”
Tina walked, as fast as she dared, because she was still injured though
not dead. Quickly she made her way to one of many rooms in the base.
“You two weren’t rebuilt to stay all day kissing you know” Tina said with a
teasing voice, as she entered the room.
Barasia and Bulldog drew their head from each other. They were both
blushing from being so obviously caught.
“I’m going to need you both to help me save…”
“Bubbles and Boomer?” Barasia asked, shocked that they were still alive.
“Yes, I finally found them”
With those words they all walked towards Tina’s space craft. Barasia and
Bulldog were holding hands and Tina smiled when she noticed.
I did a great job with the rebuilding of those two Tina though, just before
she entered the craft. The craft flew away; heading towards Megaville,
Tina had a business to do inside the crack in the elementary schoolyard.
“Stay alive you two, I’m going to save you both” Tina felt warm somehow,
when she whispered the word “save”.
In another dimension where everything was black, lay an unmanned
base. Long from the base was an area still filled with lava. The glowing
lava was slowly spreading across all of Black Eden. But there was a pitch
black spot, right on top of the lava. It just got bigger and bigger until it
suddenly exploded in black brilliance. On top of the black spot stood Shad,
he wasn’t damaged at all.
“I don’t die that easily!” yelled Shad.
The sun finally set and night began to crawl into the sky. This wasn’t such
a bad day after all …

And now this story has ended. I'd like to thank everyone that read my
story. And yes I had it planned from the beginning to make you think that
they would die
