Post one. This was a short story I started recently. I guess the genre would be cyberpunk. Except short stories, I hate it when people write in the first person. The working title is Broken.

Broken.

Shattered.

Faded.

I stared at the millions of shards of the vial that had held the elixir then glance at the fluid slowly shifting from it's brilliant amber to a pale straw colour.

It had been the cure for my sister's disease. Now it lay shattered, a quarter million credits gone. There was no way I could get enough to have in synthesized again and save her in time. My next glance was to the body on the ground. The man who had jostled me. His life for my sister's. I kicked the body then knelt down and riffled his pockets in habit. I had long ago become more than a pickpocket and slip-thief but sometimes the old skills were still useful. Three, maybe four hundred credits at one of the shops who sold my things. Like anyone in this territory would have enough. It had taken the crime of my life to make enough. I looked around then made my way to a comm unit.

I dialed a number and whispered, “I need a fat job again. At least a quarter mill. Yesterday.â€

I like it I so do love Scifi short stories, and your short stories are awesome in general ^__^ I thought the intro was really powerful, at first it conjured to me a drug, so it was really interesting to find that it was actually a cure...

Frenetic pulses through my head,

By the ones who hide behind the hate.

I'd use PNGs more often, but sometimes they're still a bit too big to host in Photobucket, and I don't have my own hosting so yeah...

No, actually, it depends.
PNGs have GREAT quality and are pretty small, but they usually are bigger then 250 kb, which is the limit for photobucket.
jpgs on the other hand, can be pretty small, depending on the quality you set it, I try to make use of PNGs as often as I can cause I just love the quality, but sometimes it's just a bit too big to get on photobucket without getting it resized...
But yeah.
For example, a about 720 x something picture of an anime (ripped from avi) are about 400 kb in PNG format, a fairly good quality jpg can be at most like, 200ish, so yeah :

okay, people, PNG is a lossless format unlike jpg which is a lossy format. With PNG-8 and using webcolors, you can get some small filesizes. Using PNG-24 to keep your files true-to-life, well, I just made a 1600x1200 wallpaper and it was over 3.5 megs in png. with a 75 percent jpg, I got it down to 700 kbs. PNG is superior for picture, jpg is superior in filesize.

I bet ya'll want to see the wallpaper, don't you? well too bad, you couldn't handle the awesomeness of it.

There will be more but you gotta understand my life I've gotta plan rush/get ready for a con/ work 9-5/ complete a four part commission and another commission/get ready for school/ take care of the apartment and other things/ take care of this place and other online places

This will be an ongoing project, I'll make sketches for it every once in awhile, but those four might be it for awhile.
