I know what lurks in the shadows deep,

Where Evil reigns and Dark things sleep,

For I have traveled far and wide,

And pierced many an evil hide,

With my sword of righteous light,

and shield of my defensive might,

I've battled demon's, monsters, and wraiths,

And lost my share of friends and faith,

But in the end I battle on,

The battle never truly won,

Even knowing it will never end,

I fall, only to stand up again,

For I am the weaks only defense,

Against the attacks of Darkness,

And know that even If I fall,

Others will stand to answer the call,

And so I battle on, once again,

For I will never allow this life to claim another friend.



I am Raziel, The Shadow Slayer, Last of the Fallen Angels

No longer do I attempt to redeem myself in Heavens Eyes, But I can protect those who cannot protect themselves.

To me, this had a very "Soul Reaver" inspiration to it.

I have descended,

The time is come.

To spread my message,

To bring them home.

My bugle sounds out,

Clear and long

Bringing forth

The faithful throng.

They gather near,

From there, from here,

To join our ranks,

To shed their fear.

I call them all,

"Now come to me,

Come forth to this place,

And you will see.

That fear is lost,

Old wounds are healed,

The old are made young,

and the young are filled,

With a voice of joy.

A voice to say,

'We have been saved,

Upon this day!'"

Then I look up,

Bid the gate be flung wide,

And we all join the joyful chorus

Of those already dwelling inside.


I am Gabriel, the First and Most Joyous of the Heralds.

Those I bring Home shall be welcomed to their eternal reward.
