Chapter 6: Damned Pirates!
After a day of fighting and silence, they arrived at Pravoka. Sirian was the first to walk into the port city and looked around,
"Let's just get some rest and then-" he was cut off by a woman's screaming. Lloyd was first to react and ran towards the screaming.
Once they found the girl she was being held by the neck and being threatened with a knife. The people threatening her were pirates,
trying to loot the poor girl. Lloyd drew his rapier and charged, Siran, in shock, ran after him, Sam and Sara following as well.
Lloyd jumped and stabed the one with the knife in the back. Right where a lung was, killing him. The other pirates noticed and drew
their sabres. Sara stared at the corpse, blood was rushing out the back and it looked like he dropped the knife. Sam grabbed it and
threatened the pirates with it, "I think you should let the girl go." he said. The pirates laughed,
"Do you really think you can defeat us all? FOOL!" a pirate said, who was obviously the captain. The other pirates charged at Sam
and Lloyd, Siri roundhouse kicked the captain (who was holding the girl by the throat) in the temple, making him fly and the girl fell to the ground.
Sirian picked her up and placed her against a wall, drew his sword, and lunged towards a pirate.
Right when Sirian stabbed a pirate in the neck, Lloyd was stabbed in the heart. Sirian cried out as he saw his brother get killed, and in a blind rage,
killed all the pirates in his way, to help his brother. Sara stared as the pirate laughed and came to kill Sirian, only to be killed as revenge,
Sam ran over in thought of what happened and saw, Lloyd had died. Sam's eyes went yellow and took out all three of his orbs, he cast them all at
once at the rest of the pirates, obviously killing them all. Once finished, Sam knelt down and sobbed. Sirian picked up his dead brother
and looked around frantically, "We need an item shop, come." and ran towards one.
The party was in an Inn, Sirian carrying a phoenix down, which had the power to bring people back. A tear dropped from his face onto
Lloyd's wound and dropped the phoenix down. Light emerged from it and Lloyd's eye opened, coughing up blood. Sara quickly took out
her cure orb and muttered out it's name, healing Lloyd's wound, "What happened?" Lloyd asked,
"You died. Don't be so reckless next time." Sirian said and hugged his brother.
Sam was resting, tired from using all his magic to cast all three spells at once.
The next morning, everyone left the Inn to see the captain pirate cowering on a wall of a house, "P-p-please...d-d-don't h-h-hurt me..."
the pirate stammered, "I-I-I'll be good, I-I-I won't hurt anyone anymore." Sirian hesitated, then nodded, "Fine, but I don't want to see you harm anyone again or..." he took out a knife, "I'll kill you." he said and the pirate cowered even more, "T-t-take my ship...j-j-just don't k-k-kill me." the pirate stammered and Sirian withdrew his weapon. Satisfied at the pirate's choice.
Throughout the rest of the day, they made even more preparations for their adventures on the sea. And the next day, they left.
