Cannon Rape ftw. BTW I didn't mean "sell" as in you sell the art for money. I meant "This would totally sell on dA if.." as in it would get page views and comments. =.=

Well, the crew is back... (Well, part of the crew... And Greg...) And better than ever. Riding the Go Karts this time.

Also, I've got an updated pic of the FNScrew on my dA. It updates constantly, and I only have 2 more to go.
Warning, if you fullsize (Which I recommend), it's a BIG image.

Please excuse the double post.
But here's a mascot for my team on PSO Blue Burst. I think I'll name him Scotty:

Is he a jedi or sthg? XD I mean, what's with the light-saber?
I didn't say light-saber! 'Cause that would be a copyright infraction. I said Psyonic Spirit Blade.

 That's a quote's from the movie "Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising", btw. XD
So, anyway... Cosplaying or sthg?

Haha, no, like I said, he's from a game called PSO Blue Burst.
It's about colonizing a planet or something... Well, I never really cared much for the storyline, I just liked how massive and fucking amazing of an RPG it was. Originally from 2000.
They've made it free to play online though. I've been playing it with some of my co-workers, and decided to draw us up a mascot for our team, the FNScrew.

Hey everyone.
Looking for opinions.
I've recently come across one of my favorite drawings from the past and decided to re-draw it, to see my improvement.
I'm looking for opinions on if I should finish this, or just throw it in the scraps file and be done with it. I'm not sure whether it's an improvement or not, because I almost like the original better. I'm not good with these types of decisions so I thought I would ask everyone on here.

Q. Should I finish this or should I throw it to scraps?

Also, here's some fun facts, I thought I would revamp the original a little bit, give the characters a bit more personality, a bit of a background so to speak. I'm also wondering if I made a good attempt at it, or not.
Thanks guys, I really need opinions.

I'd say you did a pretty good job. The only thing I'd change would be to maybe place the characters just a little further apart, but that's more of a stylistic decision. I think it looks great, and I'd like to see more of it.

I'd say work on the blast a lot, to be honest. It looks too FLAT, so to speak, and while doing that, make them have some distance between them.

The guy being attacked needs his stance changed. It looks awkward how he is standing.
Working on another story other than Hellfire, called Geistauge, which can be found here.

Yeah, the guy on the left's stance is a little faulty. It looks like he'd lose footing if he were to take a blow, or he doesn't wanna defend. :P

With what Mob and Thiamor said, you should put a little distance between them, though a direct hit from that range will just send him flying. xD

Okie dokie, I'll probably just redraw the whole damn thing.
And texture wise of the collision is going to be worked on later when I colorize it.

Thanks guys. You're a good help.

Uh... Yeah... I think others basically covered what could be improved. Damn my slowlyness (?). Work on those and show us the new and improved version.
Also... I know that's just your drawing style, but... Arms seem kinda flat, should I say. They should be kinda rounder where muscles are supposed to be.

I've actually moved more back into my chibi-esque style and I actually like that version a whole lot better. I'll scan it soon, along with the other version I drew.
Once again, thanks for all the help, I hope you like the new ones when I post.

Okay, so here are the options, you can pick the first one, which I've inked already... As you could have seen (Page 13), or your choice of one of these redraws:

Personally, I like the top one, just because I've been messing with that style recently.
But I put my fate in the hands of you, the Art Forumites, because I wanna' know which one is best.
Thanks a lot guys, you've been an amazing help.

But I like the Chibi one more.

Haha, sketched this up the other night, made me laugh so I inked it and colored it with a new style. Seriously, the lineart took me 4x longer than it normally does. I like it, but I MAY add shading later though.
