Anywho, if you don't know about this comic then educate yourself: http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript.
The guy on the left is my idea of what Belkar the little psychopath would look like if he somehow acquired yet another spacial dimension. The chick on the right is Rakne from my comic, Spells &Whistles.

Also name added as per request.

Oh, it's really really good! The hobbit's a tad creepy looking, but you have a very nice style.

He's not a hobbit. He's a halfling. They're pretty similar tho.

Hobbits and halflings are the exact same thing. Halfling is just the more technical term.

Well, if you looked up Hobbit in the Dungeons and Dragons player's handbook you would have an awful lot of trouble.

I play D&D, you know...

I'm just saying that they're the same thing. There is no difference between hobbits and halflings.

And once again:

Well, if you say so, I'll believe you. My character is a manekin anyway, which is half the size of a gnome, so I'm freaking tiny.

HOLY CRAP!

The Tubesteak Samurai! Of Spells & Whistles AND Suzie View?!

How very excellent of you to join us.
Pay heed fellows, for this man IS a professional.

I sure hope you stick around.

Added after 5 minutes:

Since when is S&W back? I thought you quit a little less then a year ago. Well kudos for the return as well. I'll have to re-bookmark it...

And Suzie View? AND Hackneyed? DAMN.

I have a lot of catching up to do.
So I'd like to ask any gamer that cares about this to educate their children about 2D games, and maybe together we can build a bright future for this type of gameplay.

Good drawing, although the guy is kinda creapy. ^_^

And for fuck's sake. A hobbit IS a halfing. Which would explain why they are referred to by BOTH terms in LotR. D&D didn't create the little buggers.

ZOMG D&D IS CHARTHEFT U GUYZZzz@~!

Hahah I don't play D&D so this convo is totally over my head. However! I do love the piece :D It's a great stylization, I think, I love the detailed linework and the colouring style ^_^ (Cut&Grad, right?)

Thanks Cali for pointing out the threadname thing (Spike <3's help) and thanks Tubesteak for the thread renamingness. Welcome, I do hope you stick around :D

Tubesetak, how do you color your drawings? I've tried to produce that effect in flash but have had no such luck.
