This is it! Week 4! Hopefully there'll be a better turnout this week for the challenge... *tsk tsk* (Flux is still awesome)

Flux won last week, his suggestion, as submitted to me via PM that I may or may not have replied to, is to create a MASCOT for Snafu Art Forums! Obviously this won't be the mascot for Snafu forums because that's Dave/Bleedman/whathaveyou. This will be the mascot for the Art Forum only, but will remain the mascot until we decide to come up with a new one!

As described by Flux: You can think of the Hook-Ups girls if you remember those. They were a skateboarding brand with a bunch of anime girls which were really only there to be hot. They had no story or purpose. This mascot will also have no story or purpose, she is just there to look cool and to draw fanart of.

Guidelines for Mascot Creation:
> Traditionally is female. Doesn't have to be, but mascots tend to have boobs.
> Is cool looking. Has to look awesome so it will entice people to draw her.
> May or may not have anything to do with Snafu or Art. It doesn't matter, just has to look awesome and be unique.

For this week, the mascot MUST be submitted in a visual medium-- it has to be something we can see. If you're a writer, you must team up with an artist who will provide a visual representation of your description. Sorry guys, not like you were submitting to the weekly challenges in force anyway

Also, I am going to be the only judge for this week and from now on. However, if turnout is high this week, I may consider putting up this one for a vote. I won't be around this week (again) to harass you about following the rules that are listed below, so follow them or your hard work will be negated The rules *do* change, and they have changed again this week.

The miracle of this contest, is that pretty much everyone is a winner, I'm going to take special care of this contest after it's over, and I'm gonna start making pictures of her after the winner is declared and whatnot, and start bothering my friends to do it, too. Every picture and attempt I see I'm gonna save personally to my harddrive. Maybe for later use in a shrine of some sort.

Ultimately, it's kinda like creating a phenomenon. But it's OUR phenomenon.

And don't forget to give her a name XD

Well, I popped out another submission today. I have to say, since joining this forum, I'm ALREADY drawing a heck of a lot more.

Anyway, here's Klyde:


Klyde flies around on his giant eraser (Think the Silver Surfer). I decided to make him a guy since everyone else is probably going to submit girls.


I'm totally a fan of this guy though...I'm considering the idea of making both him and Katrin into characters for a comic. (Katrin, my other submission, isn't a ninja, for note. Think more of a Ghost from Starcraft...I attempted to even add an eyepiece of sorts, but couldn't get it to work....)

I stole everybody else's ideas to make my submission, whom I have named Semra, from another mean woman who called me up at work and shrieked at me.

And to insure a handicap for my foul play, I colored her with pentel markers. And the key word is markers. Which spells rape for any picture I use them to color.



Actually, my primary hope for this mascot, whomever she turns out to be, is a general thievery of ideas between people. Since that means more of everyone gets into the mix of the final product. It's evolution baby!

And correct me if I'm wrong, but it sure feels right to give her the homobot goggles.
