The compression device stores all her stuff when it's not in use. It's sorta a handwave to where she puts all her gadgets that don't fit in her pockets, or where various layers of her attire(coat/scarf/hat/etc.) disappear to. When the device is twisted(it clicks once when you twist it, and you twist it back to click it off), it projects a holographic keyboard panel in a coded language and a second holographic touch screen where Deena can select what item she wants to decompress. She can also compress any items in her possession that have been tagged. It can hold a limitless number of items, but the item should be tagged with a special sticker/badge/pin so that the contents of the device don't have to be emptied in order to retrieve untagged items. It takes too long to use for it to be used as a means of defense, though; Deena has to type various passwords and codes into the holographic panel before she can compress anything. Living things can survive inside the compression device, as they are transformed into data and stored within the mechanism. If the device breaks, all items stored inside are released and turn back into their solid, real-world forms.

...tl;dr?8D Think of it as a more complicated version of a pokeball, except it can capture inanimate objects.

And lol, yeah, a tool skirt. I might even change it so it's a wraparound tool apron thing that ties in the back, since it might look better like that.

This is the maid and butler duo from the upcoming RP Karasu no Naku Koro ni(When the Crows Cry). Cyrus(butler) is always trying to teach the bumbling Miriam(maid) how to dance. Hijinks ensue.
