This guys is for learning how to draw. If you are wondering how to draw hands, eyes, people... whatever, THIS is the topic to ask in. This is also a place for tutorials, so if you know of any good ones please post it in a comment and I'll add it to the directory!

But keep in mind that if you're trying to find a way around being told "you need to practice a LOT"... you're probably not going to find it. ^_^

I think the wireframe tutorial by "that loser" should be stuck here.

You mean Flux?

Anyway, congrats on becoming mod, spike, even though it wasn't really a big suprise to me. I figured you were next in line to become one of us.

Dutch, are you eating a banana or something??? Whatever, your avvy scares me now XD

Added after 2 hours 19 minutes:

My tutorial page was broken, apparently, so I fixed it (but not the menu system, which is still weird in Firefox, DON'T bug me unless you know how to fix it).

Anyway, on that page are my Smooth Lineless Colouring Technique tutorial and also my Marker Colouring tutorial.

some links I thought I might contribute

http://www.portrait-artist.org/ - good for drawing faces etc.

http://fern.junglestudio.com/how.html - very good site if you want to learn how to draw anthro/furry art, tells you about copyright etc. as well, not to mention some good photoshop tutorials in digital art and how to colour art etc. (this is where I go for my tutorials)

http://www.neondragonart.com - this is a good site on how to draw dragons and other mythical creatures, not to mention some photoshop tutorials, and things like inking pics and other items of interest.

God no! I can only imagine what you're gonna draw with this info!

An underdrawing (circles and stuff) really really helps when you get into more complicated compositions and perspectives and poses. So it's a good habit to get into, even if you have to force it.

Welcome to the forum, Esitom :)

I know it's hard at first, but trust me... you will need it ;) Otherwise you'll plateau and just get to a point where your art is seldom progressing. If you're used to drawing straight-line, it *does* take awhile for your brain to get used to seeing things in terms of shapes instead of a silhouette of lines. So don't be discouraged. Everything takes practice.

Spike's right. I'm forcing myself to use a wireframe and is so very much easier when doing more dynamic poses. Now if my skills could only get better :/

I can draw faces well, I've even able to draw them almost the same as I've drew them before... The upper body I've gotten better with.. But the lower body I can't draw well... I draw free hand.. I just keep erasing what I don't like untill it gets the way I like it...
