I think if there's going to be comments, just put the artwork in it's own thread, that thread will fall off the same as an artist's thread, new thread for new art. I like not having comments in a 'this artist only' because then you can easily and quickly browse through thier stuff. Now we need an oekaki.

:? That's why people have galleries... an art forum is to get comments... that's the point :O

Boooo oekaki.

This still confuses me.

You're not the only one it confuses. I just don't get it.

After reading it repeatedly, I think he might be advocating "thread per piece of art".

Which is OK, but I prefer artist's threads because it's cleaner.

And if an artist is popular, only one thread is constantly getting bumped, instead of every piece from that artist. Thread-per-artist gives everyone a better chance of being seen.

Yeah, just do what I did: Find a furry porn oekaki board that nobody you know frequents, (except that Xod guy, but he belongs to every oekaki board -_-) And then you have two completely different crowds to play to, the oekaki crowd of a different community of people, and then us. Maximum commentation is achieved this way.

K right now my plans are Art forum include all forms of art literature, poetry, music, graphical, etc. When it gets large enough break Literature and music off for a seperate forum which Cole is a MUST for mod of a Literature forum. But I'm thinking ahead. Anyhow I like the idea of each artist can have a thread. We should have a sticky of "art" that isn't your own so we can bring attnetion to wicked cool pictures and in a thread where we know it's not ours. The Bleedman/Snafu fanart threads shouldn't be nessicary since I want so bad to make a section of my site again with that stuff. There should be a stickied Tutorials thread so stuff doesn't have to get asked over and over again. I love Wayne's idea of contests and stuff.

And I agree with spike no flat out nudity in the art forum, same Snafu rules still apply.

Ummm yeah I think it should work out pretty well.

Sweet. Yeah, there's no need to split it until it gets out of hand.

Added after 2 minutes:

Sure. You bastard. Just when I had finally got over my forum addiction you have to drag me back kicking and screaming then throw me into a room full of writing to check out as sites with legs spread beckon me from TGPs.
