These look great, man. You've got a very unique style, and you handle it well.

Still amazing stuff as usual

Love your style and wicked cool fanart!

Many thanks (undeserved and without merit, though appreciated) to you all.

Yes, well...thank you. Here are a few alternative designs you might like. Admittedly, not very good. (But practice is pragmatically practical.)

Be cool to see what that last one would look like if you finished it. I don't understand why you keep baggin' on your own stuff when it looks better than a lot of the art I've seen over time. My own stuff, too. Feels like crap compared to this.

My own stuff, too. Feels like crap compared to this.

I wouldn't compare/contrast quality with any of my sketches. (I'm a failure.) I throw my sketches out, so...it's highly unlikely that it'll ever be finished (by me; if you {or anyone else} wants to take a stab at it, feel free to rectify/modify). Apologies to all for my pessimistic persuasion.

Fufu.

A few of my IZ doodles. Very little variation in style (or content).

A blob of ink happened to spurt across the page while I was inking, so I improvised a remedial eye-patch (that doesn't actually resemble an eye-patch).

Ahh that sucks. Those kinds of mishaps are why I like being able to do digital drawings. When I try drawing in pen things will start to look awesome then BAM! One wrong stroke or someone accidentally bumping into me will mess me up. And then I'm a sad panda.

let me share some doodles I did while traveling. They all have their mistakes (some minor, many major).

It's sad (when outlined, the drawing surpasses the final).

It's all disappointing. What hurts the most: I'm crafting on folders and receipts, found in distant (and dusty) drawers. With a Bic pen as my companion (because I can't afford actual tools), I navigate my imagination. And come up empty.

Still, even though you don't have the nice materials that most artists have, I think that the art you're making is still pretty awesome! I'm sure I'll be even more blown away by what you accomplish if you manage to snag a tablet or better supplies.

I like the hairstyle of the girl in your last drawing. :)

Ari...I'll try to accommodate, though I am curious as to why you like the IZ sketches I've posted in this thread. Is it nostalgia driven (it can't be the quality of the fan-art)? Just wondering.

Anyway, a few of my warm-up doodles from this morning. Nothing impressive.

I like your IZ fan art even more than Bleedman's. Your unique style really suits the show whereas Bleed just used the same old style he uses for everything. He uses all round edges. I prefer a more angular style like yours that is reminiscent of the style used in the show. So basically the answer is personal preference.

Oh. Well, (I guess) bleed's designs are approaching cookie-cutter level. Themed characters need to be recognizable (consistently), and bleed seems to strive for a beautiful/cutesy style. In doing so, he relies on the same idealized face and body structure. He tries to undercut this by using mechs and non-humans as a basis for character comparison. It's likely that he believes varied designs aren't necessary if the story takes precedence over distinction. (Except..ya know... the stories themselves don't seem to be quite up to snuff. Anymore. I blame NEK.) Or not. I suppose I'm rambling.

I wouldn't call anything I've drawn stylish (I'm like that), but thank you. (Of course, we all know that my "style" is inferior. The traditional route I'm forced to utilize doesn't help. And...I've typed myself into self-pity. Apologies.)

Some sketches I made while loosening up.
