Pretty fancy stuff, I really like how you blend colors.

While I do like the overall mood you are going for I would advise you be careful of your subject.
The moon should be a bit more round that you've made it.

On the right track. Are those glasses in the foreground of the bottom image? You'll want to make the frames darker so that they stand out a little better. They almost disappear with the blue against blue.

I really like the second one. The colors are nice and it has a really calming mood to it.

Thanks everyone c:

I'll keep that in mind. I have trouble getting the exact shape I'm looking for at times (well more like a lot), but I'm working on it c:

Yes, they are glasses. I tried using my own glasses as reference, but admittedly they are hard to see. I fixed it.

Updated the drawing tonight (well last night). I still want to work on it some more, but this is pretty close (if not exactly) the final version. I'm going to experiment a little more before I decide. Here's what I have so far.

I do see quite a bit of improvement, even with those few small changes. The glasses look way better as well.

My attempt at grumpy cat. I messed up the ears and eyes though :x I tried using the picture from this link as reference:http://dashburst.com/10-cats-grumpier-than-grumpy-cat/
At the very least, it's way better than my first cat drawing

Noone can be grumpier than grumpy cat.

Obviously Colonel Meow disagrees :p
So, after spending roughly 12 hours (non consecutively) on over 100 frames for only a few seconds worth of animation, my respect for professional animators has sky rocketed. I wanted to do so much more, but don't feel like fixing it right now (and probably won't for a long time) :x
I'm just going to link this one since it is a pretty big file:http://bluebluetopaz.deviantart.com/art ... -392325960

K, now add sound effects, make it 3D and have a 360 degree spin in slow motion.

Nice job. Animation's no joke, believe me, I know.

Wear 3-D Glasses.

Do a backflip slowly.
haha I kid, I kid c:
After I fix the major problems (in x amount of time), sound will probably be the next step.
@Sigment Thanks, I appreciate it c:

Tried the backflip, I think I broke something.
I've personally have very limited experience with any of these stuff, but from what I know, I'd be the OCD guy locked up for days.
Forgot to mention, it looked nice and was a little fun seeing the development.

Ouch, sounds like you earned yourself a Klondike bar sir.
Thanks Tenshi, in hindsight, it was somewhat fun to make too c:
Maybe I'll give it a shot again with something that I hadn't already created.

I feel like I'm on a roll c: So I tried drawing Fluttershy from MLP. I'm not really a fan of the show (I haven't gotten around to watching it), but I like the color scheme of Fluttershy.. I'm starting to think that eyes are the bane of my existence....I always mess up something about them. Anywho, here is the reference pic: http://www.giantbomb.com/fluttershy/3005-24741/
Here is what I drew:

She looks cute.
I like how soft and whispy your style is, its very warm and inviting.

I agree with Mutt, the way your lines appear very soft and almost brush-like are really nice. You also did pretty well with the eyes being near symmetrical.

That is an Fing adorable Fluttershy

Thanks guys c: It means a lot.

Rainbow Dash! I had so much fun drawing her hair. I tried making it sort of frizzy (since I read that she loves flying). I just noticed that I made her face a bit darker than the rest of her body by mistake, oops.

This started out as me trying to recreate a scene from MLP while I was watching it. However....I totally messed up Rainbow Dash. Fortunately I saved this before working on her. Enjoy c:
I'm not quite sure whether or not I'm hooked just yet. I'll be watching a few more episodes just to be sure :p
I made a minor change to the sun. It looks a little lumpy, but I think I like this one better than the one above. I'll just leave both.

The sun on top looks furry c:
