@Grieffon

Thank you very much for the pointers Grieffon. I'm thankful that someone with your skills as an artist you took their time to try and help me improve my artwork. I'll keep in mind what you said for the future.
Thanks again.

Powerpuff Girls: Tougher Than They Look
--
Made a little PPG drawing here. I've been working on trying to give each of the sisters a defined look and I think I might be getting close. I drew them with some battle damage and their villains above them. Each villain is above the girl who I think would be the closest to being their arch enemy. There are some things I wish I could've drawn better, but I'm still practicing. The title isn't just meant for the girls being tougher than they look, it also goes for their villains, one being a kid with some social issues, a talking chimp, and whatever the hell Him is. I've played around with Him shapeshifting his look and taking on different forms, and this is his more... "cute" look.

Well my my; you've improved quite nicely Mutt. Using effects, working with posing, anatomy, and colors.
It's good to see some recent art from you my friend.

One critique, Buttercup's arm seems to disappear, I know it's probably behind Bubbles, it just looks a bit off to me for some reason. Other than that, great work!

Hey there Brax4, good to hear from you again buddy. Thank a lot, and I agree with Buttercup's arm now that I look at it, but that was something I didn't notice until after I uploaded it.
Thanks for the comment anyways.

Finally! I don't hate the way you draw hands anymore!... I just dislike them now lol . Eyes are also getting better and hair is becoming much better, love Bubble's hair really. Good work in general, but you may want to think more about your sources of light in general for example, the tied jumper around Bubble's waist should be projecting more shade onto the back of jean which just makes the thing look awkward. You are just making a big difference really.
Anyone want ta take look at my own comic?

The art's quite modest, but I'm told the story's fun.

Jesus fuck that's freaky.
The fact that it popped out of your head is even more terrifying.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

@ Exodis & @ Varspool:

Thanks for the comments guys.

@Akhdas:

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I guess one way to look at it, is that I like both the stuff you mentioned and also adorably cute things as well, so I like to draw both those things, or sometimes some weird combination of the two.

Bubbles Utonium: A light in the Darkness

Just a little thing I thought up with Bubbles. I was trying out a slightly different outfit for her (mainly a different design for her shirt) and this idea popped into my head. That's Him in the background looking like a creeper. I like the way her energy projecting looks in dark and its the main reason why I did this in this way. I wanted Bubbles' energy to look like it was fallowing her movements.

************************

Him:
"What is it about you my little one. I don't know why, but compared to you other, so very ugly sisters, I can't help but find you so much more intriguing. Is it your purity, that little bit of anger you aren't afraid to let out. Oh well, it doesn't matter. There are so very few things in this world that interests me anymore. I'll take what I can get. My little one."

****************************

Bubbles (who had just beat Buttercup at Street Fighter):
"Boom! Now what sista!?"

Buttercup:
"That's bull crap! Why does that stupid arcade stick make you so good!?!"

Bubbles:
"Its all skill B, all skill."

Definitely the coolest picture of bubbles so far! I love the change you made to the usual battle aura you give the characters. That faint blue light around the outside really adds effect! Especially against a dark background. That is definitely something to reuse in future works I think.

Looking good, Mad mutt. That's a good pose and the color is clean. Are the white lines around Bubbles glow? If so, you want to put them on a separated layer so that it's easier to change, and also make them a bit softer, as glow doesn't usually have a sharp edge. The energy can use a little bit extra light as well, something like this:

Image

Just an example, it doesn't have to be that strong of a glow. Just makes it lighter as you go towards the center, and it will have a nice glow effect. The center of the glow is one of those thing that you can go all the way to pure white, depending on how intense you want it to look. For a more subtle compliment to the glow, makes her clothes brighter towards the energy, and make the shadowed area darker. Another addition could be add just a bit of bright blue on her skin.

I echo everyone else's sentiment, this is my favorite picture of Bubbles from you. I absolutely adore this! And that dialogue, matches it perfectly c:

Mommy
--
Those of you who have been paying attention may remember these creatures. I'm not sure about the design for the little one here, I may try something different with her if I draw her in the future, I wanted kind of a bat/cat look for her, but I don't think it does it justice here. This is a bit of an older drawing by the way.

A little comic of Rainbow Dash and Gilda. I wanted to do a little something with these two characters for a while, but this is my first attempt. Its just a little comic and its the first time I've ever tried to draw Gilda and I got to say, drawing, coloring her in and shading her was surprisingly fun, Gilda's color scheme is so fun and pretty. Looking back on it, I kind of wish I hadn't silhouetted Gilda in the sixth panel so I could have added more color to it, but those last few panels are meant to take on darker colors while the first few are all bright and in the clouds like Gilda's memories and all that sentimental candy floss.
Gilda and Rainbow Dash are meant to be teenagers in that flash back that takes up most of the page which is why Dash's mane is a little different than the show. I was also going to draw teen Gilda as a chubby Griffon, but I changed my mind.
