The question was referring to the style, just to avoid confusion. Also, you're welcome.

That's some fierce eyebrow action she has going on. That is just like her! Good job on capturing the essence of
Satsuki.

Haha. If middle names are excluded, our initials would be the same. XD

@Saint Soul: I suppose I could, if I found the time for it. Is there a particular outfit you want to see me draw her in?

@Ruxan Kikilin: Lol, thanks! Had to emphasis those eyebrows, lol.
Also, really? That's kinda neat to know, haha.

Re: Hiroko's Art Thread - DnD Junie WIP (06/07/14)

Sun Jun 08, 2014 1:51 am

So...this is a thing I've been working on for the past couple of days, for a DnD game and all. Junior, or "Junie," in this case, is going to be a wolf hengeyokai cleric/priest character. Or at least, that's what we're figuring out, I guess. I'm not very familiar with DnD yet, so...yeah. : x But yeah, there you go.

Re: Hiroko's Art Thread - Happy Birthday Saia (07/16/14)

Wed Jul 16, 2014 10:00 pm

Today is my friend's birthday, so I drew and colored these two drawings as gifts for her (and sent them to her along with some other stuff).

Image

I was feeling very sentimental this year, so I drew this, feeling inspired by all the years we've been friends and roleplayed with out characters together.

Image

And this was a silly drawing I did of two of our characters in particular, the brutish purple-haired Charles Martin Edward I (AKA "Blood"), and the feminine-looking red-haired Aki Chichester, both as chibi butterfly BFF's. Blood belongs to me, while Aki belongs to my friend.

...And yes they're both male. :u Just to get that out of the way, lol.

Also, it did not pick up so well on scan, is the background light blue?

Yeah, it's supposed to be very light blue. It's a little more noticeable in the physical copy, but it's still pretty light.

Thank you! I was hoping it would come out that way, particularly for that second drawing, so I'm glad you think so. ^^

Re: Hiroko's Art Thread - RIP Querida Abuelita (09/09/14)

So...these are two sides of a card I made for my grandma, who passed away on September 1st.

Image

To more or less quote from both:

The cover more or less reads: "Dear Grandma."

The main message inside reads: "I will always be your teacher. I miss you, Grandma."

The speech bubble itself reads: "This is a 'Cookie,' Grandma!"

...

I was finally inspired to draw her something as a gift when I went to visit her at the hospice she had been staying at the weekend before Sept. 1st, only for her to die the next day before I ever got the chance to finish it, let alone go visit her again, as I had to stay home that day to catch up on reading for a quiz for school.

Really crappy circumstances, that.

In any case...I drew up this card because of this one memory of me my grandma was so fond of reminding me and everyone else of. When I was little, around kindergarten age, I would eagerly attempt to teach my grandma English words--having learned English myself because of school, and having a grandma who could only speak Spanish.

I would point out things, like tables, chairs, furniture, food, and tell them what they were called in English. She'd call me her little teacher because of it. My grandma would say that of all the words I attempted to teach her, the one word that stuck was "cookie." She was so proud of that, that she learned how to say "cookie" and always remembered it.

So...I decided to draw her a card based on that memory, and tucked it in with her when we went to see her today for the Rosary thing that was held.

So...yeah. Rest in Peace, Abuelita.
