Right now, I can't really say. But I'll let you know if the thought crosses my mind.

I already know who else is going to love this :3
Great work, as always.
I've actually seen a few your friend's Korra
and Teen Titan
art before. Popular ships
have a way of finding lots of art!

Hmmm... (*twirls curly mustache in hoity toity fashion)
Ari approves of this (*click, add to file)
Now for a patented Ari nod of approval (*nods approvingly)
Coincidentally, I actually found your friends DA page a couple of weeks ago. Had no idea you two knew each other though.

@Sigment: Well, alright then. If you're ever interested, here's a link to the subbed version.
I recommend the sub over the dub in this case because, well...the dubbed voice acting really doesn't do it justice. But yeah, so there you go. =u=
@Tenshi: Lol, I couldn't fathom a guess as to who you mean... =u= Anyway, thanks. And lol, I really wouldn't be surprised. She's a decently well-known artist, so her art gets around here and there.
@Ari: Lol, well, glad to have your approval, Ari. xDD
But yeah...I met her about a year and a half ago, I think? She does art and a comic for our college magazine and news website. The funniest thing is, I came across her art on deviantART (this one in particular
) before I came across her in person in the newsroom, where I went to help out with editing articles and all. Never had such a coincidence like that happen before. Really is a small world, isn't it? XD

Something new and drawn at the last minute, woo!
Today, March 10th, is the birthday of one of my characters. You probably recognize him--he's been hanging around in my avatar for the past two or three years I've been here, lol.
Just thought I should draw something to celebrate his birthday. Still trying to get the hang of drawing digitally, so...yeah. =u=; Also experimented a bit with the style...mostly because of said trying to get a hang of drawing digital art, so lol.

Well, happy birthday to your little oc. If I had known this was coming up, I would have drawn him a cake.
Mon Mar 10, 2014 5:53 pm
LOL, thanks, Mad-Mutt. I'm sure he would've appreciated the cake. XD
Mon Mar 10, 2014 5:59 pm
Damn, sh----HE is sooo cute! Happy Birthday to the guy!
Mon Mar 10, 2014 6:13 pm
Looks great, Hiroko. Here's hoping he enjoys whatever you have drawn up for him.

Great job Hiroko! I like the way your OC was created, very cute! Keep up the great work.

i always found it weird that artists made bday art for their characters.
Tue Mar 11, 2014 11:07 am
Could be the day they first drew them.
Tue Mar 11, 2014 2:45 pm
@Tenshi, Sigment, and Exodis: Thanks! :3

Wellllll, lately bday art is the only thing I'm guaranteed to make a year, for at least two or three of my favorite characters, so lol. =u=;

Whoa. That's quite a collection of some really awesome stuff. I like the lino prints.
And your life drawings are really good. I like how you render the fine details pretty well with the medium you have at hand. I like how in Nude Model 3 instead of making a line to define an edge for the shoulder, you used white charcoal (I think?) to create an edge.
Tue Apr 08, 2014 1:34 pm
And yeah, that would be white charcoal used. I think at the time we were barely learning how to use both black and white charcoal in our drawings (the previous drawings were either pure conte or pure black charcoal). The substitute at the time was the one to tell us to use the white charcoal to do that and all.

I love your pastel painting here. Don't get me wrong, everything looks great, but that one is definitely my favorite of the bunch. So very pretty =u=
Thu Apr 10, 2014 3:02 am
Thanks, Cerulean! c: I had a surprisingly amount of fun with the pastels...at least, up until I had to struggle to "erase" stuff to fix details, pfft. But it certainly was a colorful medium to work with.
Sat Apr 12, 2014 11:00 am
Just went through your collection, they're all really good, I especially like your life drawing collection. Particularly the nude drawing in pastel, love the colours and shading on that one ^^

Ahhh, thanks! Sorry for the late response, must've forgotten to respond. >.<;;;
Anyways...it's past midnight now, so it is officially a friend of mine's birthday. And for her birthday, I drew her a picture of Satsuki Kiryuin from Kill la Kill
Sun Apr 27, 2014 3:09 am
This is drawn prettyl well Hiroko!
Also (if people are curious or unsure) the JPN characters say here name: Kiryuin Satsuki!
Sun Apr 27, 2014 12:05 pm
Thanks, Exodis. c:

Not a big fan of the series but this is pretty good. Nice work!
Sun Apr 27, 2014 1:48 pm
That's an interesting style that you did with the face. Is that from KLK? I dunno since I haven't watched it myself. Anyway, nice job on this, Hiroko. Looks great.
Sun Apr 27, 2014 6:31 pm
@Sigment: Yeah, I was attempting to mimic the style her face has in the anime. And yeah, it's Kill la Kill. Anyway, thanks, Sigment.
